Gang, I have seen the light. Day 1 in the 634s 21oz. I have never felt a better feeling denim.

This is the best first post I could think to make for this thread. I’m having myself a great day! Picked up my first two pairs today. The guys at the Osaka store are incredibly nice, and so helpful.

The nickname “Black Armor” for the 9634 is legit. Just walked the dog out in the mid 30s(F) and the wind was not getting through this denim.

Long time listener. First time caller. First wear of one of my Japan pick ups.

21oz 9634z - they aren’t kidding when they call this “black armor”. Forgive the work from home slippers. lol.

Still warm t-shirt weather in NC, despite what the foliage says. Loving these 634s even more every day.

Got the black armor 9364z on in prep for this pending “snow storm” that is headed our way in NC.

Currently two sessions in with Steve Zimonvan (Remember Me Tattoo) on my back. So stoked with how it’s looking.

Figured this 1994 unissued Romanian fleck field shirt would pair well with the 9634. Unfortunately, it’s almost too warm here to wear it today.

@will6er I have noticed some of the imperfections in the weave popping up, kinda cool. Never had a pair of Onis before these and the Crushed Concrete. Both have very cool textures.

@will6er I’ve been wearing these while rotating 3 other pair of denim. I’ve also found out that these are non-faders, but they really breaking in and wearing great. I absolutely love these.

Got the dragon scaled out yesterday, and added this fun Tanuki for our Japan trip tattoo, since we couldn’t get the done in Japan.

@seawolf thank you! One of my goals for the last couple of years has been anytime I’m going to visit or see them that I have at least my point and shoot. I’ve had too many digital photos go the way of dead hard drives over the last 20 years of our trips and antics, that having negatives seems like the only appropriate to ensure I have our memories preserved.
