SE measures 1 inch below the crotch seam and Giles measures across the entire thigh at the crotch seam (you need to look at pics to understand). That's why they are different. Sounds like you are good to go.

We measure differently, check out the different techniques on the relevant sites. I have no 34 here to check, but we're usually pretty accurate…..
I haven't even checked how IH measure

Yeah, I guess I'm a tagged 36. I guess I'm actually about 36.5-37, so size 36 jeans fit me right away and only stretched a bit. I've worn jeans with waist 33 and it strecthed to around 37 now, but my concern in the thigh and that Iron Heart Jeans might not stretch as much as I usually experienced.
