I don’t post much here, mainly because my photography skills are seriously lacking and all of you take much nicer pictures.
That said, I’m glad we have cooler weather here in Canada.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canucks
I just love Iron Heart. Perfect for a cold Canadian winter day.
A little IH a little RM
@goosehd while you’ve got it … grow it is my motto!
There really are so many great shots here. So great to see various ways to wear all of this great clothing.
In all honesty, I came to this brand very late in life. I was searching for a new look so to speak. I was tired of the boring mall denim, chinos, sweater/shirts look. A “new look” wasn’t really as contrived as that, but you get my point … something age appropriate, slightly edgy, but I can also wear to work.
Somehow, I found a place called the Fedora Lounge as I was searching for a good leather jacket. Once there, the brand Iron Heart was mentioned … it’s been a rabbit hole ever since lol.
Love the ethos of the brand, the unique designs, and of course the quality, but beyond that, it fits me well. I tried so many Japanese brands, and I always had fit problems.
So glad I landed here!
@Mizmazzle just got one myself the other day.
Here’s what the vest looks like with a UHF. Sorry for the crappy pics.

@Brandrea when people ask me what was the most painful, I show them my palms. I have everything tattooed on my body...well almost.
I can’t imagine. I was genuinely curious as I’m thinking of getting a tattoo on my outer forearm, something like this.
I admit, I’m one of those guys that passes out at the sight of a needle lol
@long_john86 I love the scarf … been using mine alot lately too.
@Oaktavia ok I gotta ask … how much did those palm tattoos hurt?
@Twistlock I absolutely love the color of this N1. Bravo.
@Cole I’d be a buyer if it had an internal chest pocket, but I realize that might not be in keeping with the original designs.
IH have been known to update with modern design elements, so I’m truly hoping for this A2 in khaki with an internal chest pocket
@m4xime I don’t mean to step on any toes here … but the khaki sleeves measure about an 1” shorter than last years IHM37 ODG …. It’s making me seriously consider the khaki.
@sabergirl yes, the measurements made me think the XL would be perfect.
In IH denim I like a waist at 35.5” or as close to as possible. I figured that’d be an XL in the WL, but as mentioned, they almost fell to the floor without cinching the waist tie tight.
The L come in at 33.8” and they appear to measure the same way as IH. I guess maybe because th waist has a lot of stretch it works. I’d say the thighs and hips are more generous than my 634’s. At least they feel that way.
If you have a local retailer it might be best to try them on first. Good luck!!
@edgarallanpoe great summary and comparison. It’s nice to have both fits IMO. The trim fit of the IH is much easier to layer under a jacket but overall comfort goes to the WL (at least for me).
@sabergirl they fit me really well but I realize fit is quite subjective …
For reference, I’m usually a 34 or a 35 in IH 21 oz 634 or 666’s. I took a large on the sweat pants and they are just perfect. They sort of hang off my hips but are nice and roomy through the thighs and hips.
Initially, I ordered XL based on the measurements, but they way to large in the waist … the elastic band did nothing and without the drawstring they almost fell to the floor.
I’m not sure why using the measurements didn’t work the same as they should with IH clothing as it appears they measure the same way ….
