just watched the 'how we measure' video, I did not know that was the way to measure shoulder width.

RE: IHM-29-KHA Alpaca Lined Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Khaki
thanks great info! I've bought and sold 3 ill fitting deck jackets in the past few years, so I am trying to do due diligence. A green size 38 RMC N1 was just a fraction too small, but it looked great! A Freewheelers N1 tagged as a 40 was smaller than the aforementioned RMC. And a navy BR N1, size L was too baggy all around. I am looking for something that fits just right! I could go for an RMC in a 40, but I fancy trying an IHN1, I love the D shaped pockets, the colour and absence of USN stencils.

I'd go M
thanks Giles! May I ask about the measurements quoted on the IH site for a size Medium?
shoulders: 17.2 - this seems quite narrow, but looking at the photos it appears that the arms travel into the shoulder area if you know what I mean - hence the arm length being quoted as 27.3…....does the sleeve length compensate for the narrow shoulders?
thanks in advance

RE: Freewheelers and Co.
Didn't end up ordering the Neal Cassidy shirt - but the good news is I just pulled the trigger on a Freewheelers deck jacket…....not from Japan, but in good used condition off Ebay........fingers crossed the damn thing fits! Of course its summer here, but I just couldn't help myself. It mean my just too small RMC deck jacket will be offered for sale soon.
Anybody have any experience with Freewheelers deck jackets? The one I have ordered is a civilian model with D pockets and wool collar.

RE: Freewheelers and Co.
I have a couple of Neal Cassady shirts. I think they're a size Large, and I'm normally an XL in Iron Heart. Unfortunately I'm out of town right now. I'll check when I get home on Friday, if that isn't too late.
thanks, I'de appreciate that!

RE: Freewheelers and Co.
Hi Guys - can anyone comment on Freewheelers sizing and fit? I am eying up a Neal Cassidy chambray shirt and according to the sizing info I would be a size S…......though normally in most other brands I am an M or 38/40.
