My first post and love letter to my new Jacket.
I was initially interested in the modified 21 oz type 3 but Ironheart was sold out as well as a local shops that stock them. I found my size in the US but got sidetracked by this version from a Youtube vid. Not only was it more my style but in stock at IH! Ordering was really easy and got an email next day confirming my size from Freeman. He even measured the exact jacket that was getting sent which was so cool!
It got here quick!

I got Large and It fits a lot more snug than the Levies variant in medium I bought and just didn't love. Returned that jacket before ordering. Having said that, I can get a hoody / sweatshirt underneath and still button er up so I'm happy! Sleeve length and overall length is perfect.

One of my shoulders has quite a bit more muscle than the other and because the jacket is more fitted, it stands out more (if I'm looking for it). But that's more of a "me problem" haha. If I ordered an XL I think everything else would look more off.

Ive only had it a bit over a week but wearing this trucker as much as possible! Helps that it's been really mild here. The wife asked me if I plan on wearing to bed . It started out very stiff and maaaayby it's getting a bit softer, or perhaps I'm just getting used to it.. This jacket is definitely thicker than expected and I dig that! Looks and feels worlds better than that Levi's. Feels like the highest quality denim I have ever bought. It actually is so that tracks. Can only imagine how much heavier the 21oz feels.

So overall I effing loving this jacket! Glad I ordered direct from IH and I'm Definitely a fan now. Sooo I joined the forum!! So hey!

Hey guys. This one just found its way into my possession somehow. Today I went into Dutil Denim to try on a shirt from an other brand (it was a Freenote Utility shirt in Charcoal) and grabbed this one off the rack just to see how it looked. Out of all the shirts I had on including that Utility shirt, I just kept coming back to this wabash. The funny thing is it’s a medium and I was almost sure I was a Large in Ironheart. That said, it fits almost as if were tailored for me. Maybe I need to rethink my ih size? More interestingly, the look just seemed to keep improving somehow. I didn’t want wabash. It wasn’t even remotely on my radar & I don’t like stripes! But the wabash called to me using some form of Japanese Ai. Idk.. WABASH!! Okay, fine I left with the bloody wabash and now I’m here writing this post saying “wabash”to myself in an almost brain—rot sort of mantra.

So a couple of interesting things:

1. CPO is an amazing form factor. I absolutely love that there’s pockets for my hands. When said pockets aren’t being used they eff off in a disappearing chameleon sort of way. This is so cool!

2. the buttons or snaps are next level. I have an ish 33OD with the regular snaps and these are just so much nicer!!

3. the indigo already rubbed off on my white undershirt at one of the armpits. Hopefully I can get it out in the wash.

I also tried out a non modified type 3 in the 21oz. Nice jacket but I really have come accustomed to pockets. This was in Large and fit me perfect. IDK, maybe the wabash is a largish medium? Just measured and here’s what I got:

18.2” shoulders
21.4 chest
25 sleeve
29 length

I really like this jacket but when IH reissues the 21oz version I think I'm going to grab one too!

Oh and it happened again.. I was in a mall with my daughter and this dude walking in front of me kept looking back. Then he says "Nice Iron Heart" haha, last time this happened was with my Wabash CPO and that dude asked me where it was from. Turns out the guy from today was already wearing a Tanker jacket!
So I grabbed this selfie.. I had to haha

In all my years, no complete stranger has ever complimented my clothes. This is the second time in like a month. haha

Okay, so It came today and I tried it on immediately.
My first thought was how heavy it felt!

Also, this hoodie looks even better in person than it did in the few photos I found online. Not that my photos are any good (far from it) but none of these photos really convey how fricken cool this piece is! Seriously. I know this is mostly a dead thread from 2023 but I’m so happy with this purchase!

Wearing wabash as I not so patiently wait for my new N1 to arrive.

Started with the trucker jacket. I feel like it's the coolest jacket I've ever had. It didn't take long before I got curious about the jeans.

At first I wanted to check out a pair from an other brand in 21oz and maybe save some dough. The ones I looked at were made here in Canada and
I thought it was cool they eventually turn red as they wear down. After trying on, my leags felt like they were getting rubbed by thick sandpaper. Getting em off was like taking off the driest wetsuit ever. Not for me. nonono! I'm used to much thinner stretchy jeans. I still wanted good thic denim. The shop carried ironheart too and had my size in 634 and 666. Trying on both, I really liked the fit and they felt way softer. Much more comfortable too. Ended up getting the 666 because they looked and fit a bit better on me.

The Shop hemmed for me and gave me a bit more length to allow for shrinkage. I've never cuffed my jeans before but don't mind the look actually. They're too long to not cuff so I guess that's a good thing.

It's Only my second day wearing em but it's been 2 very good days haha. They feel like armour and I really dig that. The Devil's armour. Easily the coolest pair of jeans I've ever had!

I actually was in line at a co op grocery store in Frederick, MD last month when a dude behind me said, "I gotta ask man, where'd you get that jacket?" And told him that everything I was wearing was Iron Heart. He asked if it was American and I proudly said no, it's Japanese. I immediately thought of the forum but figured I'd wait till the right time. I wasn't wearing this jacket though. I had on the 119- 14oz Heavy Herringbone Work Jacket with a mustard hoodie and 17oz double front ducks with my turquoise waist bag.

Move to Toronto? No, don’t actually. It’s a silly place. I wonder how popular ih is here vs the UK. So far this is the only time I’ve seen someone wearing it out in public. My wife says it’s like a club where you’re compelled to acknowledge each other. Sort of like Harley Davidson owners. I’m totally here for it!
