RE: Let It Snow!!!! Winter Sports Thread
It was a good couple of days in Røldal ski centre on a teambuilding session as part of a new job.
Conditions were good. I have been to Røldal before in terrible complete white out conditions and had to navigate down the side of the piste via the piste pole markers.
Managed to traverse over to the more interesting (steeper) slopes at the edge of the area. A 5 miniute traverse and a short boot up the ridge to get access to the steeper stuff (lookers right on the photo).
Did have to endure a team sledge race at the end of the day. Was stone cold last having lost control on a corner and lost the kids toy off the edge of the run into some deep snow and trees, took me 10mins to find the damn thing.

RE: Jacques Marie Mage (JMM) - Sunglasses and Frames…
@scarfmace I think the Stahler suits you slightly better. It is has a slightly rounder bottom curve to the frame and the frame itself looks a bit thinner and subtle than the Vendome. Both suit you very well. the Vendome is a more "in your face" option and the Stahler more subtle.

RE: WAKE UP AND COFFEE
I had a fun hour at the San Remo coffee machine showroom in London last week.
The YOU home machine is pretty impressive with its pressure profiling capabilities. Expensive but when compared to other machines it seems to offer a lot more features.

RE: Watches - another OCD problem
That Credor is an interesting piece. I wonder why they did not put a display caseback on it? Probably to try and keep it close to the original case design maybe??
If they were going for as close to an authentic replica of the original as possible then why make it with an automatic movement? Sticking to a quartz movement would be closer to the original and Seiko (Grand Seiko) make some lovely quartz movements such as their 9F movement.
Oh to be a fly on the wall on some of these design meetings.....

RE: Watches - another OCD problem
Wearing the Nautilus a bit more often now. Most comfortable watch with a bracelet I own.
A combination of the slim light case and small link, flexible bracelet help the comfort level.
