@pechelman
This…I have been asking for 25oz since they dropped, but I get that these are not the hottest sellers. But we can dream, can’t we?

RE: IH-463S - 21oz Selvedge Denim Sneaker Cut Jeans "The Boss Cut" - Indigo
I would have posted in the appropriate thread but it’s been locked due to inactivity (I get it, it’s been a few years since there’s been any chatter). So can we please get the Boss Cut 463 page unlocked and discuss the absolute miracle that will transpire Spring 2025.
I just shat my current pair of 463s knowing I’ll be able to get a fresh pair in the most wonderful hope that can befall a yank living in these uncertain times….
Where my fellow taste makers at?

RE: IHSH-398-CAM - 11oz Corduroy Western Shirt - Camel
Find you someone who looks at you the way Sam B is looking at whatever is to his left....the irony is that is the exact same look on my face as I drool over this peice and these pics. I think I can only descibe this piece as pure sex. Oh man, the color, the wale, the imagined hand-feel, the pearl snaps....straight fire IH

RE: IHSH-264-RED - Ultra Heavy Flannel Ombré Check Western Shirt - Red/Black
You can always try hot washing and get some shrinkage, that said you risk shrinking the length at that point too.
I am in the same boat being a taller slimmer guy and my MO since I started with IH has been to size up to a XXL to get the body/sleeve length I need. An IH old timer said something along time ago that always stuck with me, unfortunately with clothing produced on this scale, sizing will always be a compromise given the measurements are not custom to everyone’s individual frame. Some shirts I have feel like they were made for me, others have areas that are a bit loose depending on how they were sewn up given that they are made by humans which allows for variances. This is especially true if you have an outlier build (ie, like you and I, taller and slimmer).
So I doubt there will be drastic changes in FW of 24 measurements as IH has really nailed down consistency in terms of measurements (back in the day there could be very noticeable variances between shirts of the same season) and your best bet would be to decide which compromise works best for you or find a way to alter measurements (hot washing, taking to a tailor, etc) -

RE: Ship John
Oftentimes, the only person that prevents someone from pulling something off is themselves.
100%. So many times I've been hesitant to take a risk clothing wise and then I just jump in the deep end with something, end up loving it, and wonder what took me so long to take the plunge haha

RE: Ship John
@Nik is correct, those pants are The Shop Vancouver x Y2 1.3mm natural horsehide saddle pants. TJ over at The Shop Vancouver had been doing a ton of collabs with Y2 and introduced some steerhide leather pants awhile back and then started doing some horsehide. They interested me but were coming up too short in the inseam department (32-33ish range) and I really didn't know if I could pull them off, they are leather pants afterall. And for the price point, I really couldnt justify an item I didn't think I resell. Then midsummer he announced these badboys and that they were coming in 34-36ish inseam and I knew it was a sign.
Fast foward about 4 months, I have been wearing these regularly since late summer and as they've broken in, they've become a favorite regular in my rotation....but I'm still learning how to accessorize them as they do have a different ethetic than denim. I'm looking forward to adding TJ's black teacore variant to my rotation here soon as I've been bitten by the leather pants bug
So to tie this all back to the thread topic (sorry I went off the Ship John topic path), I was so grateful to find the Wills went very nicely with these britches as they both have fairly significant break in times and its nice to be able to wear them both in tandem.

RE: Samples - New Products We Are Working On
Dude.....those navy and burgundy crewnecks are gonna be SOOO sick!
I am counting the days till the temp drops enough to break out the black and olive ones again.I've said it once and I'll say it again - the hoodies/zip ups/crewnecks are really the unsung heroes of the IH offerings!

RE: Samples - New Products We Are Working On
@Alex any fall/winter plans for new color ways on those amazing crewneck sweatshirts?
I know that none were announced in the F/W 23 collection, but curious if you all had any “non collection” plans for anything this upcoming F/W or even S/S 24. -

RE: IHJ-54 - Brown Chrome Tanned Japanese Horsehide Riders Jacket With Collar
@Heavy_blue I am so late on the reply here.....In fact its been such a crazy few years on all levels (COVID, family, career) and I have been so absent from the forum, I need to get back into it (still trying to get used to this new-ish platform).
That said, I have been awful about giving my 54 any love, but its still alive and kicking and has definitely has some wear in the years I've had it- still one of my favorite jackets and I'm debating getting the black version of this and selling my Selfedge rider version, but there is something cool about the straight collar...
I'll see about getting some photos of this guy before it gets put into summer storage

RE: IHSW-10-OLV - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Zippered Hoodie - Olive
I have found the measurements on the hoodies and zip ups the past two seasons to be absolutely perfect. The crew necks too (except for the recent 20th anniversary crews which measured out much shorter than the olive/black from earlier this year.
This particular hoodie did seem to be a size bigger than the previous iterations (ie, I ordered a large when I have historically been an XL all day in these).
All that said, overall, I am so grateful for the change in measurements. The hoodies/zip ups/crew necks have been go tos for me….even more so than UHFs in the colder months (which is saying a lot given my affinity for UHFs).
I’m so excited for the longer(ish) term plan of having a hoodie/zip up/crew neck in a variety of colors and I can say I’ll I have one of each in all colors…..for this, however, my wallet is not excited
