The eagle has landed. 6'6" with a XXXL over a XXXL heavy flannel. I can zip it up okay with the flannel and it doesn't seem too large when I go with just a tee underneath either.

Shoulders are a touch wide and the upper sleeves seem big. But I'm not really sure I could size down and still be able to wear it with a flannel underneath, which is what I'm most likely to do

A couple ideas:

1. A ranch coat with a shearling collar either in a rough leather like this one or corduroy.

2. The same split steer leather used in the type III but in a different cut. Something more traditional for a leather jacket.

Maybe only negative is that there seems to be a lot of extra material in the upper sleeve area. Not sure how this is going to look when broken in - could end up seeming rather droopy.

Is the one available at James Dant actually a different shade of brown or is it the lighting? And if it's the same exact jacket as what is available from Iron Heart, which one more accurately represents the color?

I was hoping the camo jacket wouldn't have printing on it.  Looks great otherwise.

Any changes for an XXXL in the re-run?  Tried this on at Self Edge today and the XXL was just a touch too small.

Probably the nicest jacket I've ever put on and only the size kept me from buying it.

Really tempted but only if I can get confirmation on what the damage looks like with the patch removed.  Who wants to be the test subject?
