Any anticipated restock date on these? Thanks.

RE: IH-777S-142bb - 14oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Black/Black
This pair has recently caught my eye.
Has anyone on the forum been wearing these regularly? I can’t seem to find any fade pictures of the lighter weight fabric.

RE: IH-555S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Cut Jeans - SBG
Does this denim become as comfortable or as soft as the standard indigo 21oz?

RE: IH-633S - Self Edge x Iron Heart 21oz Selvedge Straight Tapered
Please disregard the potato quality cell phone pic.
But I haven't worn these jeans in a long time and have been wearing them a lot lately. Forgot how nice they were and how they pretty much go with any footwear. Such a good fit.

RE: Wallets, Chains, and Reins
Don't slather oil or paste on that Wild Child if you're going to use it everyday, it's not needed. I have posted my aging examples on this forum before.
I agree with Red Moon and other makers in that a wallet gets the oil it needs from yourself, it's truly not needed.
I have two WC's (been using the black one for a year), my tan one is still fine. I may oil it in the future.

RE: Let's Talk About Moccasins (Rancourt, Quoddy, NEOC, Highland, Russell, et al)
This thread isn't very active, but maybe someone has an opinion. I've been wearing Quoddys for about 7 years now. I got my first pair of canoe shoes in 2012. I liked them a lot more than all of my other shoes and wore them 5+ days a week. They made it 25 months until I needed a resole, which cost $35 at the time. I had a enw pair of Canoe Shoes made last year and I received them 9 months ago in June. I still wear the Canoe shoes more than anything else since they're so damn comfortable, but nowadays, with ~12 good pairs of shoes/boots, that only translates to an average of probably just under 2 wears a week. Here's what the soles look like after 9 months at that minimal amount of use:
Not sure what's going on here, but even the cheapest Sperry Topsiders wouldn't look anywhere close to this after ~75 wears. Quoddy has raised their resole price from $35 to $129 since I first had a resole in 2014, and I've gotten ~75 wears instead of ~550 before needing a resole, which means that my cost per wear with each resole is ~27 times higher than it used to be. This is in addition to some obscenely bad work on my shoes in the past couple years (for example, an eyelet cracked, and they just super glued a new eyelet on top of the old one, with sharp metal shards from the old one sticking out from under the new one). I think I'm ready to ditch them as a brand, but I didn't have terribly great experience with Rancourt the one time I went with them. Which companies have people had great experiences with in recent years? Horween or equivalent and ability to resole are a must for me, but beyond that, I'm feeling flexible.I want to try Wassokeag next.
I wear my Sperry originals just about everyday. They seem to last forever and for the price their great. I put the Superfeet blue in them.
I have the Quoddy boat mocs. I like them, but only wear them casually in the summer. No problems yet. Disappointing to hear about their repair work on your pair though.

RE: Random Announcements
Went for an eye exam today…
My left eye vision has deteriorated from 20/25 to 20/70 in just one year... My right eye went from 20/20 to 20/25..... time for glasses.
Glasses shopping is DIFFICULT.
Thinking to shave of my beard to get a better feel of what will truly look good on my face.

I wear contacts daily, and only wear my glasses when at home and in the evening.
The best pair I've ever had are Ray Ban original aviators with prescription lenses.
They still look new and I enjoy the larger lenses.Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
I considered aviators… they're the only frames I've ever worn, because I've always felt they're the only ones that look good on me.
I don't know if I want to be "that guy" all day everyday tho, lol

I get what you mean by that completely. They didn't want to sell me them at the store when I asked, originally.
They are a great "around the house" frame.I am thinking of getting the Outdoorsman next with prescription gradient tinted lenses.
Clear frames as mentioned by filthy sound nice though too.
