I really hope these have a higher rise like the 888

@flannel-slut def helps get obnoxiously close to other vehicles when parking. I miss the front camera I had on my previous car which my truck doesn’t currently have. It reinforces my habit of only backing into spots.
I’m in Texas. If you don’t back into your parking spot, everyone knows you’re a transplant.

RE: Hair loss --
All the men on both sides of my family are bald. I knew it was coming for me, and I never wanted to be the guy in his 20s sadly and desperately holding on. I figured the most manly course of action was full acceptance and acting before there was a problem.
I shaved my head when I was 19 and never looked back.

@goosehd Crazy good. How difficult was it to talk them into making them?

RE: Prevent the saggy butt with a big gut
I was in the same boat. Jeans with zero stretch really make you come to terms with your body type and proportions.
If I were you I’d try an 888. The longer rise isn’t just to get higher on your waist, it’s also helpful in giving more room in the crotch. Both of those helped me keep my jeans from pulling down my ass crack every time I sat down. Unfortunately the saggy butt is really only fixed with weight loss or super stretchy jeans. I tried sizing up in 666 and 777, but like most big dudes I have big calves. I couldn’t fit my calves past the knee of those fits.
Food for thought: if you have non-stretch jeans with a tight fitting seat, you will likely be very uncomfortable when seated. You either need stretch or room.

RE: Pets
@Alex We’ve been looking at Boykin Spaniels. They look just like the working dog in your photos, but only get to around 30 lbs. They were bred as water foul dogs small enough not to tip over duck boats when they leap off the side for a retrieve, and small enough for old men to easily pick up and lift back into the boat.

RE: The Outlet & Project RE:LOVE Drops
@DeeDee85 Ohhhh that sounds right my alley. My wife would have you believe that our purple void is bottomless.
I did snatch up the 805 overalls on this drop! That's been my #1 most wanted out of stock item for months, and they just so happened to be hemmed to my perfect inseam.

@TheChef17 Dang you! I had the purple UHF in my basked but you managed to check out before I could. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of it. We live on TCU campus, and our purple love is deep.

@CosmoSix5 Really love those boots. The green is awesome. I'm going to say too narrow, just to give you a reason to buy another pair of jeans.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
I’ve heard that a lot of the softness of the 21oz is due to the looser tension when weaving it. I’m curious if the 25oz actually uses a thicker yarn, or if it’s the same yarn as the 21oz that is simply woven tighter to achieve a heavier fabric?
@Giles Do I remember it correctly that the 25oz was your idea?

RE: Red Wing Shoes
@WhiskeySandwich
Don’t know if this helps, but here are my 10d 8833s next to my 9.5ee 1907s. Weirdly, on the 10d my big toe sits almost dead center of the toe box, but on the 9.5ee it’s exactly where it should be. -
RE: Red Wing Shoes
@WhiskeySandwich I started with a D width, but I felt like I was always walking on the welt. Might be what you’re experiencing?

RE: Red Wing Shoes
What exactly bothers your toe? You said they have ample space on the sides? I’m a 10D on a brannock, and I wear a 9.5ee in my redwing mic toes. That gives me a perfect fit when new, then they break in a little and feel too big, then a little more break in makes them feel perfect again.
