I would say heavy and slightly restrictive are things I definetly associated with the deck jacket in a positive way. So perhaps not the best for hiking.

@RobeOfTheMagi One size down from your main IH shirt size is the best rule to go by initially.

The 224 was 14w and this is 11oz so difficult to compare on paper but I remember the 224 and would say that this is def heavier.
