can anyone speak to the fit difference between this an the A2? I wear XXXXL and I see the measurements show it a bit smaller, but curious to hear what people may think...
also is it overkill to have both?

I was curious, or if anyone else can maybe chime in…
I wear a 10.5E Mister Lou and just ordered the WE-CXL7710705-BLK - Custom Boss Engineer Chromexcel - Black from the IH Germany website in 10.5D. I spoke with Chris before I ordered about the sizing and he said it would definitely work so I’m assuming I’m good to go, but just curious about others experience if they’ve tried both these style boots.
If anyone can comment, if I wear a 10.5E in mister Lou what would be the best size to go with on these?
Just came in today and I’m beyond stoked on it. This is a 52 I have the camel I got a year ago in a 50 as well. They fit similarly in the chest but this has a wider waist so it’ll be more comfortable with a shirt or hoody under it. I need a leather next but finding one my size is a bit tough
@Rooney-04 just got my import fee sent through UPS digitally. i received a text message about it and a link to pay directly it was $112 for the chore coat
@Rooney-04 ive had it done both ways personally, ups sent me one in the mail, dhl was before hand digitally
@Rooney-04 i believe this was back when he was using DHL, i think he uses UPS now. I had to pay prior to delivery, but it was seamless, they just request payment, you pay and it authorizes them to be able to deliver. I have ordered internationally elsewhere with UPS and I thought I made it through without fees, but then a month later I got a letter in the mail about paying.
however since my last message, I pulled the trigger on another chore, so within a few days I can let you know what the process is like now
I have only ordered once (so far, Ive been hovering over the black roughout chore for a week now...) but shipping to NJ I believe it was just about a $100 give or take
@Daniel-San yeah thats what im thinking, i am just stuck deciding between the two. my steerhide is 50 and it fits well, but its a bit snug when buttoned
@Daniel-San they have the 52 in stock in the scar and 52 and 54 for the horse. my steer chore is a 50, so I was leaning towards doing a 52 in this one to have some room
@Daniel-San how do you like the tea core? I have the steerhide, but I am trying to decide between getting the black teacore or the scar
@jordanscollected thanks! yeah the goal has been to trim up a bit, so hopefully thatll only help the fit, but I am very happy with how it fits both ways
Well, just got mine in yesterday and typically with the work shirts at least it’s always a little of a snug fit, but I am super stoked with how this fits. I tend to mostly wear open, but for me to be able to justify keeping a shirt it still has to button and fit well, and this shirt definitely fits well. Size SP large/xxxxl the color and pattern on this shirt is just incredible
well, this came out of left field for me, but pulled the trigger on the XXXXL now just fingers crossed that it fits
@yannis i agree theyre always on top of it, ive just never seen a chest measure on a shirt this big from them so i checked a few other sites for comparison. all the other sites have the chest listed at about 25.5 while the IH measurements show it at 27.2, so its a fairly large difference
@Germinal and hows the fit for you? I keep on seeing conflicting measures when ive seen it on other websites that carry the 4xl... whats your preferred chest size on a shirt?
this might quite possibly be the largest chest measurement I have ever seen in a shirt from you guys, which makes it insanely more tempting... XXXXL gang
@Jcaz6996 @DeeDee85 thanks guys, safe to say i followed the directions and they came out perfectly fine, back wearing them now!
@Jcaz6996 thanks for that. I have always just thrown my indigo right in the wash without soaking and had no issues, but maybe I'll just start to presoak first with all of mine just to avoid any issues
I need some washing advice... I am nearing 100 wears on mine, and I want to wash them soon. I had a pair of 555sbg in the past, and I screwed them up bad washing them so I want to avoid that with these by all means necessary. I learned after the fact that with SBG soaking them prior to wash is essential, so I am planning on doing that and then throwing in my machine on delicate/handwash setting. Any other advice? I am going to hang dry afterwards
