@Mizmazzle hah, it's actually just a very unkempt bun. I gotta get the sides/back buzzed back down.

Some more pics, including the side pic (sorry, I'm awful at taking photos). You can see how my thicc booty necessitated sizing up to the XL. Too many beers and squats.

@Salted-Racer I was in G16 and if I had to guess, mine was made at the very end of the G16 run as it was a custom fit. I also read (on the SJ IG I believe) that they had halted Wills production for a minute there because they were waiting on backordered zippers. Mine got shipped within a day or so of making the final payment so I'm guessing there were a lot of jackets sitting around waiting for zippers but otherwise finished. I wouldn't be surprised if your G19 jacket comes pretty soon.
@Oaktavia sorry I'm home in pajamas now with bad lighting but I'll snap some side-view pics tomorrow. It's "snug" but not at the same time, if that makes sense - due to the rigidity of the fabric I have to kind of pull harder to get the sides together to zip it up, but once zipped it feels like there's plenty of room. I can fit a hoodie under it no problem. I could probably do another layer, too, but that would be getting kind of snug. I definitely put on some weight the past few months that (hopefully, hah) will be coming off soon, which would make that additional layer even more comfy.

RE: Ship John
Finally got my Wills in. Super happy with the custom measurements. Went with an XL (normally I buy American stuff in a large), and got some length taken off the sleeves and center back as I have dumb proportions. I still think the sleeves are just slightly too long but that should get just about perfect once the sleeves start stacking.
Love every bit of this jacket with a couple exceptions: the two-way zip is a little finnicky (you really have to grip both zipper pulls tight together and make sure the zipper is seated firmly before you can zip it up), and the lining is very nice but kind of highlights that somewhat gross waxy feeling at the unlined cuffs. Really just minor things and I won't care after a while.
I was worried about it being too heavy to be practical, or too non-breathable, but while stiff it's not all that heavy and is quite easy to wear. It's not exactly breathable, but does a good job keeping rain and wind out (already tested). Also, because it's so stiff, it doesn't drape close to the skin but rather sits in the shape it wants, which kind of allows for more airflow between the jacket and the skin than you'd expect (e.g., in the sleeves). Can't wait for this thing to break in.

Gratuitous "it stands up on its own!" shot:

RE: Ship John
Just got the email confirming my size, so I'm super psyched to say mine will be arriving earlier than expected as well.
Curious — do the sleeves scrunch up with time on these? I'm going with an L regular because I'm not really into the the body looking overly long in any way. The 25.75 seems just fine for sleeves, but I do wonder if they'll actually get shorter as some creasing in the arms sets in. Anybody have experience with this?
Fwiw I'm 6'2" but any time I've ever ordered anything in a long size, I've regretted it.
I asked this a page or so ago and never got any responses, but when I asked SJ themselves they told me 1/4" - 3/4" sleeve length lost due to stacking. I have a broad chest and shoulders and weirdly short arms so I went with an XL for the chest/shoulder measurement and got my sleeves and body length shortened a bit. Hopefully it's spot on.

RE: Ship John
I'm G16 so maybe I'll get mine in time for some wear before summer hits!
Edit: Just today got the email about sizing confirmation for G16, which was supposed to be June 2023 but could be February. Sweet. Still trying to nail down sizing but am pretty hyped.

RE: Ship John
What can people tell me about how much sleeve length I can really expect to lose to stacking on a Wills? My arms are proportionally short compared to my chest and shoulders, so I need an XL to be able to wear anything other than a t-shirt under it. I'm in G16 for delivery next year, but want to dial in my measurements. I'm definitely getting it shortened to a length I know will work for me, but I'm a little stuck on the sleeves. Thanks!
