Any chance there will be some ih-666 SBG's with the black/tonal stitching that's on all the other super black/SBG pants?

Long shot, but does anyone know if RM will put out more of their plain(no stencil) N-1 deck jackets this year?

RE: Samurai Jeans
IMO if you're having to size down two sizes, it isnt the fit for you. From the measurements, the 710 cut has a pretty generous thigh like my 633s.

You're probably right.
I've just read so much praise for the 710 over the years, I figured I'd give it a shot.
I'm super keen on the denim(although the construction on my particular pair… Not the best), and this being a limited edition, with not many other black->fade to grey options out there, I decided to cop em while I had the chance. It's all good, They aren't a 'bad fit' or anything, just different than what I was expecting from the measurements & pics I've seen.

RE: Samurai Jeans
That's a great fit, I'm jealous.
Just ordered my first pair of samurai, 710bkb and the thighs are pretty baggy on me. I sized down one from TTS… Wondering if I shoulda went down 2 sizes. I thought about selling them but I'm super keen on the denim & blue stitching...
Think I might end up seeing if rail car can take some of the thighs in. -
RE: IH-712 - 9oz Organic Selvedge Cotton Herringbone Work Pants
And the cut is easily my favorite after the ih-666.
I hope ironheart brings out more work pants/chinos in this cut. I'd consider it as sitting perfectly in between straight and slim. -
RE: IH-712 - 9oz Organic Selvedge Cotton Herringbone Work Pants
Just got mine today (charcoal), man I love these pants! First impression is they're super comfy (but I've been living in a pair of stiff new ih-666s, so take that with a grain of salt ). But they're extremely comfy, I see no problem wearing them in hot summer weather or cold weather. Closest thing I have to compare would be my RRL herringbone chinos. The material on these is a little lighter & thinner, but I feel like the weave is tighter & their 'tougher'. Also much better made.
Great looking pants over all, and there's so many little things that make them love at first sight for me: the light grey-blue zipper lining & heavy duty Talon zipper(I'm a zipper fan), the rear pocket shape, the horizontal herringbone lines around the waist, the way the back cinch is riveted, the beautiful burgundy ironheart label, the stitching, the heavy duty front pocket lining, and the way the herringbone lines run diagonal from the crotch on the backside of the pants. Just the little thingsPersonally I plan to get mine dirty & faded, and treat them like work/biker pants, but these can easily be worn as 'nice pants' for work, nice dinner, etc.
For me these will be worn almost exclusively with plain white or light grey T-shirts (spitfiredealer knows what's up!)I've been wanting these since they came out, and at $120 it's a no brainier!
Wish they had olive in my size too, I'd jump on them in a heartbeat. -
RE: IH-666S-BK - 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Superblack (SBG)
@neph93 good looking out buddy! Unfortunately the smallest I could fit is a 31, maybe a 30.
I wish I could fit into a 28! -
RE: IH-666S-BK - 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Superblack (SBG)
A bit snug on the thighs, but from the feel of the denim, they can certainly stretch a bit.
21oz will stretch, no doubt. Congratulations.
How stubborn are these, fade wise?
I have the SBG BB's. Same denim. They have a special, rather nice way of fading. I find then stubborn, buy then again I think all SBG/ sulphur dyed denim is, especially compared to regular indigo denim. The contrast between blue and white is is always going to be stronger than black and grey. Here's my back (wallet) pocket after 60 days og wear.
Damn those look awesome! Drool.
I wish I had jumped on the sbg bb's when I had the chance. SBG denim with black stitching is pure money.
Hopefully one day there's a 666sbg with black stitching. They belong together like hand in glove. -
RE: IHSH-154 - Organic Herringbone Cotton Work Shirts - Olive and Charcoal
Sizing question-
I measured my 2 best fitting button up shirts using IH method.
(My shirts are a size small & medium slim, both made by J. Crew).
On both, the shoulders measure 18" and the chest measurements are 39" & 40" (small shirt with 39" chest fits best). Sleaves are 25".What size should I get? t
This is my first time ever measuring the shoulders on a shirt, and I've always gone by just the chest measurement in the past.
The small size's chest measurement seems perfect, except for those shoulders.
Is 1" smaller in the shoulders going to be an issue?
Like I said, I've never done any shoulder measurements in the past, I don't know if there's any room for leeway or stretching, bunching, etc.I have pretty broad shoulders, and my waist is a true 30"-32" (depending on season ), usually 31".
Do I need to have my shoulders measured? -
RE: Fall/Winter 2016 Pipeline
Awesome! And that dirty silver-ish button on the olive (wool?) looks absolutely perfect!
I'm really liking what I'm seeing -
RE: Spring/Summer 2016 Fairytale Release Schedule
Any word on the long sleeve herringbone work shirts? I didn't see them in that Dropbox chart, are they still scheduled for June? I don't think I've ever been more excited for another IH shirt

Hard to choose between khaki & navy… -
RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
A couple things I'd love to see:
- an Ironheart A-2 Deck jacket
-brass zippers & buttons(dark brass, not shiny) instead of silver (on jackets).
Or maybe some black brass antiqued style buttons- Like vintage military.-stitching the same color as the shirt, instead of white stitching(like on chambray shirts)
-olive color duck work pants
-thin round (shoestring style) hoodie strings, same color as hoodie (instead of flat white).
- leather bifold wallet with the little window for ID on one side.
That's about all I can think of. Iron heart gear is pretty perfect as is!

RE: IHSH-55 - Wabash Western
Absolutely beautiful!
Imo one of Ironheart's best looking western shirts ever!
That blue stitching(instead of white) makes all the difference. And those yellowish/brown dots… The shirt is just perfect!
