We now have a dozen weeks of this NFL season in the books and as the clock ticked down on the Ravens/Chargers game with the aforementioned Ravens winning 30-23,we head into Week 13. But first let’s go back to Sunday as the Detroit Lions easily handled The Indianapolis Colts 24-6 giving @IrishHeart his eighth consecutive win. Last night The Ravens started off slow with The Chargers jumping out to a 7 point lead, and I knew that @Mizmazzle hadn’t taken out his lucky socks yet,but in the second quarter Lamar Jackson would hit Mark Andrews with 10 yard TD pass and I knew that at that point “The Socks” were in play. We have an epic battle going on here as @IrishHeart and @Mizmazzle continue doing a brilliant job as they will be vying for their, unprecedented ,ninth straight wins. In the US we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving this week and that means copious amounts of food and football. But first I’d like to say thanks to everyone for playing along and participating in this Survivors Pool. Big time congratulations to @IrishHeart and @Mizmazzle on their wins. Football on Thursday,Friday, Sunday and Monday. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

RE: What's your favorite Beer?
@Anesthetist Winter Warmers...You mean Bourbon, right? I think you're a Jefferson's fan? If you want to get a real treat,The Jefferson's Ocean Aged in Humidity,or The Double Barreled Rye,also Ocean Aged, will warm you right up.

RE: Hard Drinkers, Lets Drink Hard (Spirits, Liquors and Cocktails)
@Tago-Mago said in Hard Drinkers, Lets Drink Hard (Spirits, Liquors and Cocktails):
I only ever have two drinks - the first one and the last one
The great W.C. Fields was asked if he ever got drunk? He said just once, lasted 28 years. He was also asked why he never drank water? He said because Fish Fuck in it!

RE: American Football (NFL)
Tonight starts Week #12,and while there is a game on tonight,(Steelers/Browns) @Mizmazzle and @IrishHeart having correctly picked the winners of 7 consecutive games will now be trying for their eighth straight win. Pretty impressive ,if you ask me. @Mizmazzle needs the Ravens to beat The Chargers and @IrishHeart is sticking with The Lions to beat The Colts. Congratulations on 7 in a row, good luck getting the 8th. Back on Tuesday.

RE: That's Jokes
@Mizmazzle That was freaking hilarious. Great find. There really is a famous/notorious leather store in NYC called The Leatherman.

RE: Iron Heart spotted on celebrities
I don’t know who the guy is but,he’s on the recent episode of Bert Kreicher’s Something’s Burning YouTube show, wearing a UHF.

RE: Random Rants
@mclaincausey It's inconceivable to me that anyone could bet on a football game with any level of confidence.

RE: Random Rants
@mclaincausey There were record setting amounts of money bet on this fight, and I’m of the opinion that whenever betting on any kind of sporting event, one should always entertain the possibility of “Larceny” and wager accordingly.

RE: American Football (NFL)
One of the sports analysts said that the only offensive coordinator that can stop The Ravens is Todd Monken. Ouch! They needed to make the 2 point conversion, and Derrick Henry is on the sidelines. Even if you’re not giving him the ball at least make the other team think that you might give him the ball. Reminds me of when The Seahawks got cute in the Super Bowl, don’t give the ball to Marshawn Lynch, and Russel Wilson throws an interception.

@IrishHeart They play Buffalo in a few weeks, could be a Super Bowl preview.

RE: American Football (NFL)
Good Morning from chilly Cranford,NJ. While there’s a game tonight,it doesn’t affect us. Here we go. Lions-Jaguars,The Big Cat Derby, but similarly to the Tyson/Paul fight last Friday it just does not live up to the hype as The Lions make kittens out of The Jaguars to the tune of 52-6 giving @IrishHeart the win and a showdown with @Mizmazzle,this week,as his Denver Broncos bounced back from last weeks blocked field goal to easily handle the Falcons 38-6. Those two teams outscoring their opponents 90-12. Every week I marvel @Twistlock picks as he never shies away from a tight contentious division game, and this week would be no different as he picked the 49ers to beat The Seahawks, but those Seahawks who have been kryptonite for some of us in this pool, somehow prevail in this of all games beating SF 20-17 thereby sending @Twistlock to the sidelines. That was a really great run you had. This sets it up for last years Rookie of The Year @Mizmazzle vs the up and coming @IrishHeart. This will be significantly more exciting, than the Tyson/Paul fight as those two battle to win the IH Survivor Pool. Get out your popcorn. Good luck to both of you,and congratulations on last week. Football on Thursday/Sunday/Monday. See ya next week.

@Mizmazzle This is an absolutely brilliant, really funny,15 minute set.

RE: That's Jokes
@Mizmazzle I’ve tried and tried and tried but I just can’t get into Seinfeld. I’m literally the only person I know who doesn’t like it. While I appreciate Jerry Seinfeld’s comedic genius, I don’t find him all that funny. I watch his specials and every single joke is impeccably written and delivered, but the audience is hardly laughing. So it’s not just me. I liked comedians in cars etc.

RE: That's Jokes
@Mizmazzle The only reason I ever watched Curb Your Enthusiasm was because he was on it. He did a really great set,he works hard,a lot of physical comedy.

@mclaincausey said in Random Rants:
To be fair, I do t know what about a bout between a social media guy and a 60 year old man doesn’t portend a boring event.
You are 100% right. Full disclosure…I bought the hype/hoped Tyson would beat the annoying social media guy. That being said if I didn’t have a Netflix account,I wouldn’t have gotten one just to see the fight. I agree with others that the Taylor/Serrano bout was great.

RE: Random Rants
@RobeOfTheMagi I stayed up late to watch it. Thought it was really bad,and from the level of booing,I was not alone in my thoughts. People paid a lot of money to see that.

RE: Music
@GraemeE I was kind of guessing that as well, but wasn’t totally sure. And he was in Slipknot for a while.
