I know there were issues with sewing buttonholes but I nevertheless would love to see a comeback of a denim work shirt with buttonholes (Sorry don't like the snaps on work shirts).

Total opposite for me. I love my 12 ounce workshirt with snaps. Gets more wear than any of my shirts.

Little coastal town south of Sydney called Kiama. Surf is up, sun is out, life is beautiful.
