Had to upload a pic after my second wash. Had for about ten months. Love this SBR OD. Was sad to see it go outlet.

@SKT I know Im dredging up old posts, but this is so true. Giles HoF pair convinced me to buy my first pair of IHs. It basically converted me to the brand. If I was married it would've led to a divorce at this point.

RE: IH-727-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Mid/High Rise Tapered Chinos - Khaki
Would love a restock and additional colors. I bought all five colors of the 721. I planned on wearing them for work but the 777 cut just isn't for me. Lesson learned. Add .5 to the rises and thigh and its game over.

RE: IHJ-123-OD - 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim Work Jacket - Indigo Overdyed Black
@Alex I wonder why. I loved the pattern. The denim was beautiful, and its overdyed. When I saw it in the outlet I was surprised. I hope it doesn't discourage future type 2/type 2 variants from being produced. I think it's a near perfect pattern.

RE: IHJ-140-IG - 19oz Selvedge Denim Type I Jacket - Indigo/Grey
@AdamJ I second this. I think you just adjust to whatever amount of pockets you have. Imo, the type iii isnt suited for storage. Two small and angled chest pockets. Handwarmers for when you don't want to use the ones on your jeans. In this regard, the type ii is simpler but more functional. Two big front pockets. I don't own a type i but I think the same logic would apply.
I want to way in on the cinch. Putting aside the practical function, the cinch is an indispensable piece of the type i/ii silhouette. Pleats tapering to a cinch. If you get rid of it, your not too far away from a work jacket.

RE: IH-101J-SR - 18oz Selvedge Denim Storm Rider Jacket - Indigo
Jesus, this is going to be 6 jackets in a calender year. I haven't even worn the type 1 in public yet. Someone convince this isn't some kind of sickness.
Also can I add a back cinch to this jacket?

RE: IH-101J-SR - 18oz Selvedge Denim Storm Rider Jacket - Indigo
@steelworker Lol. Currently, the style of jacket is how I'm convincing myself to purchase. I need a warm weather type 2. Or I don't have type 1 jacket. Or I have a winter coat, but I need a winter jacket. I can feel it slowly degenerating into 6 type 2s. I guess I'm lucky that type 3s don't really appeal as much as 1 and 2s because they seem to be the most regularly released.

RE: IH-888S-18 - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans
@lionheart I gotcha. I'm just saying you can't really go wrong with either. They're both wearable all year long. Beautiful fades.

@WhiskeySandwich Yeah, that's why I'm trolling this thread. Patiently waiting for the 18oz in the 888. I can't really comfortably wear anything else. The 555 had the rise, but the thigh taper is really sharp. Can't wait for the drop.

@lionheart Honestly, when it comes down to it you really just have to try them on to see. I know that might not be possible, but I've scoured these forums looking for confirmation on a particular fit or fabric. You really can't know until you try it on.

RE: IH-888S-18 - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans
I have 888-21OD/555-18. You're right. The 21 isn't slubby or hairy. It really comes out of the box soft and stays that way. I've had mine for about 8 months and even now the weave is tight with slight degree of fuzz. With that said, the 18 isn't really slubby IMO. The denim is a coarse out of the box and a little hairy. It does feel like a slower weave denim. I wore them both in summer and felt fine. Maybe the 21oz fairs a bit better in really hot weather but the 18 works too. Personally, I love the 18oz. The denim is almost electric blue from day one.

@AdamC Like Giles 18oz , you convinced me to pick these up. They should be in the HoF. Just curious on how the fade process was.
