Big thanks to Rob and Greg in the Manchester store for their help picking out a leather jacket, it was greatly appreciated.

Crotch shot indeed, well more leg than crotch
Went to a show at the fringe wearing jeans and the tent had no aircon and it hit 41.7 yesterday so the shorts got thrown on as soon as we got home
And today it’s back to being 23I assume your in somewhere like South Australia with that temperature swing - the only time I’ve experienced that is in Adelaide.

@Tago-Mago They're such a great band, it's like being back in the 80s and first discovering Slayer. My copy will never get posted here though, it's on CD
@GraemeE I was so glad when this got re-issued. I'd missed it first time round. Love them.
Sad that these two bands have one thing in common, they lost their vocalists far too soon.

RE: Care For Your (Denim/ Wool/ Cotton)
@derek111 Just wear it - I had a shirt that came with a cologne smell that didn't wash out but went with hanging and wear. A shame really, it smelt really nice!

However taking off with sweaty socks has never been too fun.
A boot jack makes taking off a tighter paiur child's play.

- No
- No, not issues, but they don't just slip off
My Skoob pair needed plastic bags and were really difficult for the first 5-10 wears then became easier. I still mainly use a boot jack to remove them. They are about as well sized as a slip on boot can get. My Boss have plenty of heel slip, I can take them on and off with ease with the straps done up, but they are also as small as I can go without them being too short.
The fit on the Skoob pair means I prefer them in general, but the ease of putting on and taking off means the Boss probably get used more, as a shitkicker boot.

RE: Random Announcements
@Oaktavia Congratulations! The best kind of random announcement.

RE: OrSlow
I had the guys at IHUK do a chain stitch hem on my 735 work pants…kind of spoiled me on all other hem types for pants. Just seems more robust? But that could be the kool-aid talkin’ and I’m sure either one would work fine Also I’m no help
Chain stitch is less robust to my understanding. Looks better though.

RE: Thrift Store Scores
Getting Red Wing boots from the thrift is wild. The WASP t shirt brings back some memories, I saw them at Monsters of Rock (now Download) in 1992 and they were terrible.

RE: Books
A tag line that should go down well here. I’ve never bought his clothes, or seen much of his tv work but I thought this book was brilliant. An echo of my own thoughts over the last few years.

RE: WESCO
@Giles is spot on here. Buy what you like, not what’s likely to sell. And FWIW when I’ve sold custom ordered boots I’ve had no issue making the sale, quite the contrary.

@J-IV I’ve got that too, although mine’s a Japanese reissue.
