Pulled the trigger! My first slubby, but the colors were too good to pass up. Plus I needed another work style flannel in the mix.

This is the best of the bunch IMO. Love the lining inside the collar, makes me wonder if anything on the cuffs?

When you buy the size too big, sometimes you just shift the plan and improvise for colder days.

My original mid 90's Carhartt Detroit Jacket in Carbon Blue.

RE: UES Clothing MFG .CO.
@Lowlander I think it was 2 seasons ago. UES was still slightly under the radar, and I got lucky looking at some sites. Interesting thing is it feels heavier than my other 14.5 oz UES flannels.

Scored this one a while back and still my favorite UES flannel.

RE: IHSH-254-GRY - Top Dyed Heavy Kersey Western Shirt - Grey
@CosmoSix5 It's still one of my favorite IH shirts hands down. Unique texture and also the perfect fit for me. Enjoy!

@indigo_nico perfect fit nico, and cuffs can always be dialed in as needed.

RE: Ship John
16oz Sashiko Ori Indigo, but as you know this feels heavier that IH 21oz, and just more my style. I wish it was CPO style and had the lined placket + cuffs, but without a doubt one of my favorite pieces.

RE: IHJ-54-BLK - Japanese Horsehide Rider's Jacket with Collar - Black (Tea-Core Dye
@weftyarn Thanks! I never know on IH jackets if you are supposed to go with shirt sizing or go up because it's a jacket. I finally got the shirt sizing dialed in, but jackets I'm still uncertain.

Thanks for reminding me not to sleep on this shirt. A classic staple for a reason.

@CosmoSix5 glad it worked out, and looks good. makes me wonder about those IH measurements though. we put so much stock into those being accurate.

RE: IHM-43-NAV - Nylon Type L-2B Flight Jacket - Navy Blue
@CosmoSix5 That's a bummer, maybe one will become available or maybe it's a blessing in disguise. As much as I love the color, style, and overall look of the jacket, I can't help but notice in all the pics the zipper looks like a roller coaster from top to bottom. Maybe it's just my imagination, but still love much about this jacket. I had reservations on sizing and also didn't have the funds.

RE: IHSH-189-BRN - 17oz Duck CPO Work Shirt - "The UnTucked" - Brown
@weftyarn I agree, and looks really good on you. This is one I terribly missed on the sizing, and might need to purchase again one day to dial it in. I'm glad I joined this forum to help guide sizing references and avoid those mistakes in the future, but live and learn. Great CPO nonetheless.

RE: IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo
@FourHorsemen I have the SJ and from my understanding it's a much heavier fabric and a bit higher quality fabric, despite listed at 16oz. It really depends on body type and preference in fit, and I know IH tends to fit some folks better. For me (6-2, 195) they both work well for me. I just happened to buy SJ first and no need for 2 similar styles when so much on the horizon tempts me. We live in the golden age of excess and clothing options.
Curious to hear your comparison once you spent time with them. -
RE: IHSH-397-IND - 21oz Sashiko Work Shirt - Indigo
@Germinal That's good to hear, and happy for you. Sashiko is a fast fader for sure. You know the routine on wash to minimize any shrinkage. I'm anxious to see everyone's fades this winter after some steady wear! Enjoy
