RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?
In addition to a black storm rider, my other suggestion would be chinos in a cut similar to the IH-888 jeans in all the different chino colors (ivory, khaki, navy, black)
We are going to sample khaki chinos in the 888 cut….
Did this sample happen? I could have easily missed it. I’d also like to see 888 chinos.

RE: IHJ-85-BLK - Waterproof Harrington-Style Windbreaker Jacket – Black
I just received the IHJ-85-BLK in the mail today, and it really is an outstanding piece. I am now very tempted to find a Navy.
I often fall between sizes, and opted to size down. Thank you for the help @Chesson. The fit is perfect, and even received high praise from the missus.
10/10!

These are really nice. I can't decide which color I like best. You can't go wrong, really.
IHUK, do you know if the cuffs are wool, or nylon?

RE: IHSW-41 - Heavy Loopwheel Fleece-Lined Zipper Hooded Sweat – Grey Marl or Mint G
Haha. No, I was hoping to upgrade the mrs.' "house sweats" that I'm not particularly fond of. I'll still keep an eye out for these because the size small may be close enough.
Thank you for the quick reply.

Any chance we will ever see this sweat, and the sweatpants, in a XS?

RE: IHV-36-BLK - Primaloft® Gold Quilted Vest - Black
I'm hoping to track down one of these for my mom for a xmas gift. She's a slender 6'0". What size do you think I should be looking for? Thank you.
Edit: I didn't realize the product page has the height / weight of the IHUK crew. Thank you, that helps greatly.
I think she would likely be a medium… but now if I could only find one.

RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer
I’m curious if anyone can recommend a pair of water-resistant pants that don’t look like the typical REI / Patagonia / Columbia wear? Thank you.

RE: IHJ-80-BEI - Cotton Mix Mountain Parka - Beige
Thank you, Giles and Joe. I'm looking forward to testing this jacket out. I think it strikes a tasteful balance between a classic aesthetic, and modern waterproofing tech. I really appreciate the additional insight. Cheers.

RE: IHJ-80-BEI - Cotton Mix Mountain Parka - Beige
This jacket really snuck up on me. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I do. I'm curious to learn more about the water-repellent properties. Just how waterproof is this jacket?
I'm also curious about the velcro closures for the pockets. Is there a functional reason for this? Or is this purely an aesthetic choice?
Regardless, this is a really nice piece of kit. I think both colors work equally well, too.

RE: IHSH-228-IND - 5oz Cotton Linen Chambray Western Shirt – Indigo
Interesting fabric, and it seems to have sold well, so far. Any chance we’ll see a work shirt variant?

RE: ROY
This is my favorite of all Roy’s releases. Jeans, shirts, SE collabs, you name it.
Should I quit my job to ensure I snag my size at SELA before the Friday leftovers trickle online?
I do require the occasional meal, so it’s a tough call.

RE: IHE-38 - Black Cordura® Ballistic Overnight Bag
Just received this beauty, and it surpassed lofty expectations. Best purchase in a while.
It goes great with my existing GoRuck travel kit, and the quality is to an even higher standard. Well, the cordura and zippers are, at least. Will report back on durability after a few months on the road.
Great storage options, and the perfect size for a briefcase / carry-on bag. Thank you for restocking, IHUK.
I hope to see more products in this line; including, a larger version of this bag, and the previously-teased backpack.

RE: Samples - New Products We Are Working On
It's not a democracy (we tried it recently and got Brexit)…. It's going to be Alpaca
Wise policy. We tried it and got Putin.

+1 vote for the quilted lining. Great idea with the whipcord. I've been wanting something like this for a while.

RE: Movies
I think because the most common complaints against the film were the derivative characters and story. From a technical perspective, it's an amazing film. It will be very interesting to see how Cameron raises the bar with the next three, after years in pre-pro.
I'll take AVATAR over 98% of these superhero films, though (BLACK PANTHER & SPIDERVERSE, excluded).
