Iron Heart 777S-21 - Size 34
This is a catch and release pair I took a chance on from eBay. The provided measurements weren't very accurate, so these are a bit small for me. I'm just selling for what I have into them. I would also be interested in trades for 777s with 35"-36" waist and 12.75"+ thighs. $200 shipped CONUS.
Waist: 17.25"
Thigh: 12.5"
Inseam: 31.5"
Hem: 7.75" -
RE: IH-888S-UHR - 21/23oz Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans
Fwiw, don't discount the 666 uhr till you check out the measurements. These seem to be cut a little more generously in the top block and thigh than their 21oz counterparts for the same tag. Mine didn't shrink at much as I was expecting either and very quickly stretched back in the waist so they're very comfy.
Interesting, I didn't even think to check out the 666 UHR after my experience with the 666 XHS. The measurements actually look pretty generous. I put in an order for 634 UHR, but I will chat with the IHUK crew tomorrow and see what they have in the 666. Lots of those still in stock.
@John:
Feel like I probably could have sized down.
I had similar experience with the 555UHR. Went with my normal tag size which had posted dimensions a little larger than my typical. The tag size down had posted dimensions that were perfect without the shrinkage. I went with the slightly larger dimensions thinking the shrinkage would pull it in, but after a few days of wear they are now stretched back out a little bigger than I prefer. If I get another pair, I’m going to purchase as I normally do with the dimensions I want as if no shrinkage. Then after soaking and washing, I’ll stuff myself in them like a sausage and wear them around the house till they stretch back out. I should have known better since I had experienced the same thing about five years ago with the 3Sixteen Kibatas. I’ve learned my lesson with raw - won’t happen again for me. BTW - they don’t look bad (as mine don’t either) but I know it’s a matter of personal preference and how you like them to look and feel more so than what others may notice.
This is where I am at as well. If they are comfortable after a hot soak and hot wash, then (for me) they are probably too big.

RE: IH-888S-UHR - 21/23oz Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans
I dont see anything wrong with the fit. They look relaxed in a nice way.
Thanks, appreciate it, but I think @Kasi hit the nail on the head. I was in 888s a few years ago, but have been wearing 634s the last year. I was in 666s for a minute when my weight was down a bit, but they are uncomfortably slim for me in the heavier weights. I might pick up the 634 21/23 before they sell out and then make a final decision. Thanks for the feedback, I'm hoping to be more present around here again now I have a bit more free time.

Hey all, haven't been on here in a while. I picked these up right when they came out. I really struggled with the sizing and went back and forth between 33 and 34. Went with 34s and did not get as much shrinkage as I thought I would. Fit picks are after a one hour hot soak and a hot wash. Feel like I probably could have sized down.

RE: What's your favorite Beer?
While not something to enjoy year-round, a little Mad Elf when the weather gets cold is a staple for me
I think it’s a requirement to have at least a few Mad Elfs every season in our area. Not my favorite beer, but I drink it every year.

RE: Our Cars (dream or actual)
@sabergirl Thanks so much! It's not too hard to do those types of trips these days as you can now rent vans/RVs all over the world. It's a great experience and we have done many long road trips with our kids. A few years ago we did over 6k miles (that was a lot of driving).
