I was waiting and hoping the 16 oz vintage would come out in the 888 cut but it didn’t happen. I’m assuming the 16 oz didn’t sell great since most people either went with the 14 oz or 18 oz instead. Just picked up the 16 oz from the outlet and I’m loving the denim so far. Substantial denim as expected from IH but breathes well. Highly recommended.

RE: IHSH-222-IND - 5oz Selvedge Cotton Linen Chambray Work Shirt - Indigo
Received the linen/cotton shirt the other day and finally had the chance to try it on. Fit is perfect and it will be great for warm weather wear. Highly recommend if your size is still available.

RE: WESCO
Like taking shoes off in Japan?
I forgot that
Modified version…
I have a dress rule. I don't go to anything or anywhere in UK or when I am on holiday (especially holiday) that has dress rules....
Ok. Let me try. I have a dress rule. I have not been to the UK, except that one time I had a layover at the London airport. That does not really count though but I should get back on track. When I do go to the UK one day, I will wear Wesco boots unless I go somewhere where not taking off shoes is a sign of disrespect. Did I get it right?

RE: WESCO
@spacecadet love the British tan. Hope they fit great.
I went to a birthday party yesterday and one of their “house rules” is no shoes. I was a bit salty to have to shed my Warrens.
I know the feeling. My wife is Asian so boots in the house are not an option.
The fit is great. I’m lucky that going TTS (11E) is pretty perfect for me. These work better for me than my LTT Jobmasters for some reason.

Those are some nice looking boots!

Thank you. Something I’ve been wanting a long time.

RE: WESCO
10” British tan Jobmasters, Standard 9165 last, double midsole, Vibram 700 outsole. Thought I would be getting packer uppers instead but this is great for me without the heavy white stitching. Plus it makes it unique compared to my other boots.
Plus one is the sun.

RE: WESCO
Hey @rocket, where did you get the tan leather laces? I’m having a hard time sourcing some that are long enough for 10 inch boots.
-
RE: WESCO
Absolutely @spacecadet . You went with the british tan? Mine are burlap rough out.
Yes Sir. Ended up going without the bump toe since I already have a lot of boots with a bump toe including the Viberg’s in the pic.

RE: WESCO
I got my shipping notice as well. Pumped!
Nice. Please post pics when they arrive. I’ll do the same. It would be nice to see some more activity on this thread.
It’s a good sign for me in that the shipping weight is 7 pounds. Love heavy duty sh*& kicking boots.

RE: WESCO
Holy. Flurking. Shnit.
Just got THE EMAIL. Custom Wescos are near completion. Had to resist doing a jig in the office.
Never been so happy to have someone contact me asking for money.
Same here. The four month wait seemed like it took forever. Mine have been shipped out from Baker’s and should arrive early next week.

RE: Ship John
So sad to hear about the attack. Haven’t met Mike but emailed back and forth a few times. He hooked me up with a new grommet for my Gibson wallet. Seems like a good guy and didn’t deserve any of this BS. Visit the go fund me page if you can.

RE: WESCO
The anniversary engineer boots look great. Naildown construction instead of stitchdown is interesting as well.

RE: WESCO
I’m at 10.5 weeks (not that I’m counting) for my custom Jobmasters with packer upper stitching. Shouldn’t be too much longer.

Unfortunately the sneakers aren’t wide enough for my feet and will have to go back.

RE: WESCO
What is the Difference between the Black Leather and Black Tie Domain Leather ?
Standard leathers are heavyweight oil tanned with a matte finish
Domain leathers are not quite as heavy, but are waxed with a glossy finish -

I couldn’t resist these any longer. Have a black pair coming my way soon. ;D

RE: WESCO
I am slowly inching up on getting a pair. To be honest, getting the sizing right is slightly stressful. Question: what size are in Red Wings or Vans?@spacecadet:
That’s the one. I was referring to where I saw it in this forum before. I measured my foot today and had some questions. I’m an 11EEE according to that size chart.. I’m Wondering if anyone else with Wesco boots finds the cart accuratez
The Boot I got today is 9.5D and that is pretty much exactly what the Chart says.
I used that size chart before I bought my Jobmasters and find it accurate.
I may have mentioned this before but Kyle at Bakers boots told me that not all of Wesco’s lasts are standardized. For the standard Jobmaster last (9165) or bump toe last (9109), the chart works great. Kyle also mentioned if you are thinking of going with the MP last he said to size down 0.5 size FWIW.
This is something that is giving me trouble. I have heard to size down .5 for the MP but in practice I rarely see it done without removing the sock liner or in cases of people with odd sizing. I've also seen side by side pictures of an MP wesco and a 2030 Viberg that was a half size smaller and they looked the same, maybe even a bit shorter than the Viberg.
Interesting and good to know. I’m getting the feeling that Kyle at Bakers tends to size people on the tighter side. He advised me to take a half size smaller on my Jobmasters but I went TTS from the chart on bigblackboots.com instead and I’m glad I did. I have sized down too much on certain boots in the past and was trying to avoid that for my Wescos. BTW, I’m a 10 in Viberg and 11 in Wesco.

I have a pair of Redwings in 10EE but the fit isn’t great. Maybe a 10.5D would have been better. Not really sure since I haven’t tried that. Don’t have Vans but I’m 11.5 in Nike/New Balance. 11 in PF Flyers. 10E in Alden Trubalance/Barrie. 10E in White’s semidress but think 10.5 might be better for a longer arch length.

RE: IHSW-35 - 12oz Heavyweight Loopwheel Fleece Lined Sweat Pants - Marl Grey and Mi
I had my eye on these since they were released last year. Picked these up from the outlet last week, but won’t get any wear until the weather cools down. These are great though.
