I was very heartbroken to hear this news… Mike was such a great dude and reached out to me on multiple occasions about fading jeans and taking photos of faded jeans. I will sincerely miss him…<3

^^ Well… that was the last time I saw those cushions… they were commandeered by my daughter apparently to live in her room permanently. 

Need bigger sizes next time please!? Like 24x24” would be so awesome! Maybe patchwork them from even smaller waste scraps? Anyhow, lovin’ these ones nonetheless! P

Looks so good, I’d probably even consider it reversible. 

These really are the best shoes…Such a shame... Maybe try foot-binding? I’ve heard that’s worked well historically to help large clown feel fit into Japanese shoes. Just a thought...

Thanks for the help. The Large was way to big, and the medium was skin tight. Was hoping it would shrink, but had to return instead.

Has anyone had a chance to hand wash their shirt yet? Wondering how the fabric responds. Any additional shrinkage, or change to the drape/fit? Cheers.

The Ebbets hats, especially the repros, are in a league all their own…

This is exciting. Ordered today. Any chance the Crew can spill the US manufacturer? Not sure the protocol on that, but as a baseball hat collector, I’ve very curious.

Given your body shape and size I can recommend the 888 cut too. I believe you will find it equally satisfying as the 1955. It has a high rise, a full top block but a more modern tapered silhouette than the 1955. The best thing is the waist/thigh measurement ratio which works very well for those of us with som chunk in the thighs.

The 888 was the other one I looked closely at. In my case what pushed me towards the 1955 was the slightly wider knee (big calves) and the slightly higher rise. Will have to keep watch, if something epic comes out in the 888 I'd definitely give it a shot.

After buying both the 634-XHS and the 888-XHSib at more or less the exact same time, I agree with everything @neph93 says in the above post. I am roughly the same legs as his, and I prefer the fit and look of the 888’s to the 634’s, which once hemmed down reminds me of my favourite skater jeans in the mid-90’s. Lol. They are still super comfy, so I’ll still be wearing them for working on the truck and bummin’ around the house a lot though. The 1955 fit is likely my next choice, but I haven’t tried them on, and I’m still getting used to high rise jeans in general, so I’m hesitant.

Fit pics of my first Iron Heart purchase.. 634's have since been machine washed once at 30C, and hot-soaked at 80C, and no longer feel/fit like lumber Thank you @Graham for the reassurance that the fit was correct, and this would happen, as it most certainly did. They feel fantastic after a few weeks of wear and some IHUK hemming. Cheers!

@neph93 I think I prefer the work shirt cut too, as it fits my broad shoulders better, and has nostalgia for me behind it. I read m everyone posts regarding the XHS jeans in detail, and they became clear winners after that. I’m just still shocked at how different the XHS and the XHSib are… wasn’t expecting that, and can’t really decide which to break first. I’ve been wearing the XHS the last fee days, and every time I put my hands in the back pockets, I keep thinking they are lined or brushed... that denim is so soft on the underside. The XHSib... well, that’s a different “beast”...

Thank Neph. Seems this shirt got less love than the traditional colours, which was to my benefit being a rookie and all. lol.

I've also procured the 634-XHS, the 888-XHSib, the navy moleskin CPO, navy 10oz chambray workshirt, black 10oz chambray western, and the Heavy loopwheel zip-hoodie. Basically jumped in with two feet after realizing I'd been looking for this brand my whole life…literally (almost).

I'll post a few more pics I have on my desk top in a day or so of the stuff I've been wearing around town. Thanks!
