That's right, but I never had a problem with Iron Hearts leather patches after 40 or 50 degree washes, so was just wondering if there were other reasons.
Great overview, Appfaff.
I'm about to soak mine, and I want as much of the shrinkage gone before I start wearing, so I think I should do a cold soak and then a hotter wash. The guidelines recommend a cold soak followed by a wash no hotter than 30 degrees celsius, but I guess that won't get rid of all the shrinkage - so I was planning on a 40 or 50 degrees wash. I was just wondering why it is recommended not to wash the UHR hotter than 30 degrees?
Got a pair too - sized up one and looking forward to see the fit.
Shortened cross post of a few pictures from from the final submission thread. Can't believe two years went by so fast.
I have really enjoyed the IH Megabusters for the last two years. One initial soak and three or four washes. They have had a few crotch repairs, one hem reinforcement and new stitches for the top buttonhole.
Final submission from contestant number HC-IH-72
IH Megabusters, size 35
Super heavy category
I have really enjoyed these jeans for the last two years. One initial soak and three or four washes. They have had a few crotch repairs, one hem reinforcement and new stitches for the top buttonhole.
Also a few pictures from the one year mark, taken just before their first wash:
Great picures of great jeans on the last couple of pages!
I'm HC-IH-72 checking in with a few pictures of my Mega Busters - taken this afternoon before giving them their third or fourth wash. They're drying right now.
HC-IH-72 checking in for the first time. My Mega Busters - no washes so far, but they're getting one right now.
I know this is "random rants", but that is almost over the top. That may be the most random thing I ever read. Ohio is the only American state that doesn't share any letters with the word "mackerel".
Just an idea: this jacket in the green satin cotton from the M65 would be sweet.
Thanks for your comments, guys! And great stuff from you too on this page, Ariowl and Finn.
Edit: previous page, it seems. I just can't keep up anymore! Everything moves so fast nowadays with the Googlewebs and what have we…
Thanks for the help, Saintkeat - and you're doing a great job with this!
634S from September 2010. They were my first Iron Heart purchase and are still in rotation.
Should the photos show up under the IH competition immediately after upload? I have just uploadet, but can't see them. Username "taksaha1".
Recent props go to ClintD and Takasha, steller fellas to do business with.
Props right back to Mega! A pleasure to do business to with this guy.
