I will really second this advice on sizing snug at the waist, especially since the thigh / knee areas are roomy by design. Like Yannis I had to lay down the first time but now it has relaxed and fits golden.

Hi,
I am a XL in UHF and I can squeeze it in under this jacket. As you noticed the measurements err on the generous side, and the sleeve length would have been too long for the XXL.
That being said if you want to have a full range of motion I'd size up as the heavy fabric can restrain a bit.

Just sharing my 2cts as I ordered both L and XL (as stated above).
The L was aesthetically pleasing but really felt constricting in the shoulders/armpits, even with a simple tee, so I will return it (watch the site for those interested) and keep the XL. At the end of the day it's a winter jacket and I want to be able to layer and to feel like I have a good range of motion
In an ideal world I would have the XL shoulders/chest with the L sleeves and opening.

I just purchased the N1 black in Large and I am second guessing my decision to size down (as it’s documented on here). I wear XL in both western and work shirts and I’d like to be able to wear these under the N1. The black model is sized quite generously in L apart of the shoulder size at 46.8cm (vs. 48 in most of my XL shirts). Given the above would you recommend to stick to my decision or size up?

I have a couple of shirts I bought 2 and 3 months ago that I bought at the beginning of my IH journey and are unfortunately not a great fit for me.

First the 293 OD CPO size XL, in great condition as worn only 10 times. Asking price is 300e, shipping from Switzerland. Sleeves are at 67cm and overall lenght at 75.1cm. Other measurement are in line with IH chart. Payment preferred via Paypal or Revolut.

Then the Wabash 12oz western indigo size XL, also in great conditions that received only one soak when I initially received it. Sleeves are 68cm and overall lenght at 76.7cm. Askign price 200$, shipping from Switzerland. Payment preferred via Paypal or Revolut.
