If they can withstand the ass whupin my O's gave your yankees last night, they can withstand anything.
I was there to witness that…wasnt pretty and i knew with Phil Hughes pitching the turn out would be bad.

I am a Jet fan so u will be sure to poke fun then as well

Being an Orioles fan takes just as much work as breaking in XHS. The biggest difference is that by the end of the season you'll have totally devastated Mad Max Thunderdome jeans and I'll have my attentions turned to football.
OMFG. Can't. Stop. Laughing.

Nice. You know what I'd do now if I were you ? (and please feel free to completely ignore me because it's all a personal choice).
When my jeans reach that stage of wear I give them a brief soak, or maybe just wear them into the shower. Not a full wash, just enough to open up the fibres and make them a little hairier on the surface when they dry. It takes a day or two to "wear them in" again, but in my experience they just get even more awesome after this.

In ur experience what makes you say "ok these need a soak" Because i dont know how to judge if and when to do anything
-
Big question! There's no right or wrong in this game.
For me, it's when they have started showing decent fading and colour loss, like yours are. I also tend to find around this time that the surface has become kind of matted down with dirt and whatever else, almost shiny in places. The soak helps free up the fibres and as a result the fading is often faster afterwards.
But don't do anything because of what I say (or anyone else for that matter)…everyone has their own way! Keep enjoying the adventure, and if you feel like washing or soaking them some time, do it.

yeah soaking and washing is very personal. I have soaked my badboys in warm water about 30 degrees celsius for some minutes after about a month and gave them a machine wash after about 2 months of effective wearing as they were dirty. Now they draped very well to my body shape with a beautiful blue and small fading and I am not planning to soak/wash for some time. I'll try to post some pix in the evening.
as RocknRoll is right, there is not really a solution and soaking/washing does not harm the jeans imho.
In your case Sal and if you are happy I would not yet soak or wash until they get real smelly and dirrrrrty, to give them some more time to settle. I think I was a bit too early with mine, but again and as rocknroll is right, there is no right or wrong.

Thanks guys , I am going to hold off on soaking. I think the 1st time these touch water will be a wash & thats not happening for sometime. I have done some ass kicking things in these and the fades are imho making them look like they are worn longer than they really have been. Kinda like tissue paper stuffed in a bra.."NOT WHAT IT SEEMS"
