Took a spill today. Fell 20 feet or so out of the back of a truck and down a gulley. I wasn't badly hurt but I got a bit of veggie green on the left hip/thigh. I was pleased to see it doesn't show much in the pic..

Notes: Got caught in the rain.. Made the denim go all nice and crispy.. Love it.. Getting some nice whisker action spead'n.. -
[Week 8 Front]
[Week 8 Rear]
Notes: Getting some nice fades.. Middle rear belt loop is almost outta indigo.. Wear on pocket corners is getting deep.. May require repair.. Leg stitching in inside of leg is being worn out.. I'm looking at a knee-seam blowout down the road.. -
i guess/would suggest you to take your evo pics outside the house or somewhere where more light is…way too dark to see sth. imo!...
I hear ya finn.. It's almost always night when i have time to take my pics.. I wanted to use the tiles to keep my pics to scale. I'm gonna set the up with mega lights/outside for my retirement shoot.. It is way dark sorry.

My good man, the front/rear pics are always way too dark to see anything?
-
I wanted to take a series of photos with the same lighting/setting/scale so that when seen in sequence they would be a good gauge of the evo. I guess I should have just taken more bright outside pics to spice it up.. Folks, I will (in future) endeavour to post viewer friendlier photos alongside my dim scale photos.. Cheers!

I personally like that they are the same.. looks great to see the progression accurately portrayed.

Sad news at this hour. Late into week 12 a noise was heard the crotch region. Barely noticable progress in the fabric separation was noted. This very evening the jeans were rushed to the usual tailor.. I'll be without workpants 'till wednesday. She plans to install a strip of fabric in the crotch seam to anchor the fabric.. Photos will follow..

[Week 12 Repair]
Notes: Dry cleaned and starched.(No Washes) Nice and mostly clean. (Little brown to the knee still)
The repair may look a little funny but i'm jazzed.. Tailor moved the seam in about 3 mm and got a slice of fabric into the stress zone. -
how much were they in the first place?
they look good for something that i'm guessing was around the £30 mark.
-
Your on the money. I paid $65.00 Canadian NWT (New with tags) before shipping on Ebay. I can't guess how long ago these would have died had I washed them. One of the old guys at work was whine'n that in his day they didn't buy their jeans pre worn out. I took it as a compliment. So clean they look new huh? I must say the denim is simply too thin for any proper long-wear evo. If I hadn't rushed to the tailor with my crotch rip, the seam would have shredded. I'm sure that they'll let go soon enough. I wanted to put heavy work wear on these and then retire them to casual wear but i don't know if these will make the golden handshake… When I next do this it will be with Triple Works.. It's starting to feel like a waste of effort. But they are looking pretty good at the moment.
