just took delivery of the mermaid CPO shirt MP14102. i think it's the best single piece i've ever had from mccoy and i've bought pretty much most of it over the past 5 years. i had a buzz rickson from a few years ago which is a nice shirt but absolutely no comparison with the mccoy take. i think it's based on a custom built original of a top quality felted wool; secret interior pocket and, of course, the mermaid cuff detail. worth every penny from the best label in the world.

RE: The Real McCoys
@qinhan: how is sizing in these? A comparison to Viberg or White's sizing (if possible?) would be cool. Thx in advance!
Enjoy ya addiction!
i have a pair incoming. i understand if you are a size 8 in the UK you should be taking a US size 8 in the boondockers. superdenim have a statement to that effect on their website and i was advised by vintage paradise that they are 'true to size'. US width fitting D.

Overdyed Tigerstripe M65 jacket…...
Looks beautiful! Anyone seen this in the http://www.superdenim.com/prodpage.asp?productid=3868
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
its a lovely jacket. the tiger stripe doesn't show through at all at this point but i'm looking forward to some wear and tear showing up the detail. great transitional jacket it will see a lot of action in autumn as its a wee bit to hot for it in london at the moment.

RE: The Real McCoys
Got my tees today and I have to say they're pretty spot on.
The fit is just right for me and the fabric is pretty interesting. Pretty regular on the outside and very soft to the touch but has a decent bit of irregularity on the inside. The weight is good too, not too light or heavy.
These rank up there with Tezomeya and TFH tshirts in my opinion.
I still need to try out SG tees, but seeing as the sizing is pretty tiny I probably won't be able to.i've been sent a large from the nice lads at vintage paradise to try these t-shirts out.
its a good fit now but i understand shrinking is significant in this style so i'm ordering XL.
how have yours washed so far?

More pics, Quality isn't too hot (taken on an iPhone)
Over all I couldn't be more pleased with this amazing shirt! In my opinion the cut and shape of the shirt is fantastic, pretty short in the body Which I like and the size is spot on for layering which is the whole reason I bought it,
The wool is so thick and warm, I had a bout 2 miles to walk this morning to work and it's down to -2 here, I had a t-shirt, Cabourn Roll neck and this on top and was as warm as toast walking in!
i got this bad boy in red. its lush; heavy wool that is thicker than a filson jacket so expecting it to be very warm in the winter.
my only gripe is that the buttons seem a little small given the sheer thickness of the wool.
perhaps things will loosen up over time but they are a little fiddly to button up.

@Max:
I think one size down would be too small or uncomfortable. And it hasn't been washed yet. But I must say I love it more and more…
don't size down big man they shrink a lot in the wash.
i'm finding the summer sweats in large tight round the midriff compared to the winter weights and that's pre wash.
i've had a of mccoy delivered in the past few weeks will post later today.
