Watches - another OCD problem
-
Love those Grand Seikos. I have a SBGX-005 but it doesn't get much wrist time. I guess I didn't realize how similar it was to my Citizen Chronomaster before I bought it. The case is really beautiful though, probably one of the nicer ones I've owned. Off the GS track, I'm VERY excited to have this Brightz coming in next week:

Two things: it said the "baddies" get black ion plating. Why is the C3PO black? Second, the Storm Trooper is the coolest, but that's a steep price hike over a comparable Seiko. Not sure it's that cool.
EDIT: I take that back about the price. It's actually not bad. I was getting my movements confused.

The BMF had been on my list until seeing it in person. It is gigantic. Badass but gigantic. Here is my pick of the day.

Citizen's answer to Grand Seiko…... THE Citizen. Only ws off 1.5 seconds last year.

@Jii:
Some nice stuff from Tudor in Basel this year:
Pelagos (in titanium)Tried this on on my lunch break and I was totally blown away. If I was in the market for a stealthy diver I would have walked away with it. Amazing build quality, extremely comfortable on the wrist and soooooo much better looking IRL than in any of the pics I've seen. The dial is a mattish black with crazy depth in it, the titanium felt heavenly and the bracelet was out of this world comfortable. I feel that Tudor struck a home run with this one. The price is reasonable as well.
And a nice pic:
…and one more, you can really see the solidness of this thing in this one:
Serious watch crush! -
My 4 1/2 year old daily worn Marathon Chronograph Pilot Watch (It's a beast!)
I just bought a Feit handmade Bund Strap watchband for it (In naturale)
From the site:
The Bund Strap watchband was first used by WWII pilots because of its insulating properties. The leather band would ensure that the watch face would not freeze or burn a pilot’s wrist as they were exposed to extreme conditions. -
^excellent choice does not get any better then IWC

Yeah - that's a héll of a watch… How much did that set ya back, davito?..
And I have a question... Link me to a cheap-arse (under 100 € if possible), good quality, sober styled watch with a metal bracelet (NO LEATHER BRACELETS)...
Anything that looks like this (prefer a dark blue dial though), and doesn't cost 400 €...
