My Mum thanks Mrs. G for the little gift (soap) packed in with my last Iron Heart parcel. I left it unopened for her on the coffee table. Mum said "How did Mrs. G. know about me ??". I said, Mum – everyone on the Iron Heart Forum knows about you ! They've seen pics of you too ! At which point my Mum rolls her eyes and replied "Gee, thanks.". But she appreciates the sweet gesture from Paula greatly !

In case he has not got any decent internet access, I will reply pro tem. He is currently in Mayalsia (it is his gap year before University). He is teaching English in a Burmese refugee camp and also working in a couple of clinics (not 100% sure what exactly he does there). He is going to fly in to Tokyo at the end of May and spend the week with me there. Visting with Haraki, Flat Head etc..G

Wow. That's awesome ! Gap years are the best…Wish I took one. I think University-bound students are much better off after a Gap year (or two). Giles, your Son seems like a good kid. Make sure you post Tokyo pics of Alex and you !

Oldboy is fucking weird, but v.watchable.
Went with "Miller's Crossing" instead. Only Coen movie I hadn't seen to ate, and effin' loved it!..
I'll watch Oldboy later today, though. Really in the mood for it. I have only seen it on PC as well, it'll be nice to watch on my 42" full HD screen

Very kind message - thanks, Shubs. It was such a tiny gesture for such a legendary Mum!

Off to France for skiing trip tomorrow!
Very excited (but of course, very sad at prospect of leaving Mr G home alone till Saturday).
