Of course, I am biased and I have no idea what it costs to ship from a Rakuten store. But if you get your size wrong, you'r e in big trouble. Order from me of Self Edge (or most of my other retailers) and if you screw it up - no probs…G
Every pair of IH jeans is hand-made so sizes vary. As the owner of several pair of IH jeans, I can tell you that some W28s fit like W29 and so-on….you simply cannot trust tag size. The latest W29 BootCuts Giles sent me were weirdly too small -- couldn't even button up. So, Giles is right...returns aren't accepted. I've never tried ratuken myself, but...I know many Samurai lovers use ratuken the most because it's the only way they can get arcs and tabs. BIG doesn't do arcs & tabs. That said, I often see people trying to sell brand new, BNWT (Brand New With Tags) Sams on SuFu because the measured size came out unexpected -- too big or too small. And it seems like the ratuken buyers can never get back even close to what they paid -- they usually have to knock off $100 at least. So, they spent $400 with Ratuken and can only get $250 for BNWT jeans. Even if you have to return something to Giles or Kiya, you end up ahead financially.
I can certainly see the motivation for ratuken, if you love Samurais. BIG just doesn't do arcs and tabs, which sucks.

You're just a babe in the woods stewart. Here you go :
http://blueingreensoho.com/The guy who owns it is "Gordon" ? Dunno. I've never dealt with him but he's the Kiya of Samurai. He's the sole distributor of Sams or some shit. Beatle would know more…

Yes Gordon is the Owner of BIG (Blue In Green). What does any of this have to do with anything? I was responding to Shubs statement because it neither asks or responds to a "Random question which you seek the answer"…...... I continue with ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

LandoCal, that's a great picture of Haraki-San rocking the cordura in NYC (on SuFu). You should post it here ! Did you hang with him while in NYC ?
I posted the picture already under the Cordura thread. No I did not hang out with him in NYC. That photo is from his Blog.

My question is why were you not wiping that away instantly instead of pulling out your camera/ phoe to take a picture? If you want to wash your jeans then wash them…

that looks so damn delicious, wahtever it is.
and that spot is so minor nothing will ever happen. I've done work with vinyl flooring in my raws. got plenty of epoxy glue on my stacks. that shit does not come out, i try to scratch it out and i am seeing cotton fabrics come out. so i left it be.
about one month later now, it looks just like any other fade. no harm done. -
@simon626:
I had another food casualty on my 634-S, making it a total of two spots with food grease on my jeans…
I'm kinda interested in just washing my jeans once to see what color they turn, and to have them spotless once again..
Do you guys think i can just spot clean though without any visible discoloration from the rest of the jean?

My question isnt necessarily why didnt you wipe it off; why the hell did you stop eating???
i would have finished that enchillada plate then wiped the sauce then taken an after photo. hahaha.
