I'll ask about the 2 tone if anyone really wants one
Also, as I already have some pre-orders, I guess the pre-order is now open

Mega, just a question with respect to belt sizing, do we state our jeans size, or measure the overall length of a current belt. The reference to sizing in the belt post isn't totally clear, since you state in the ordering instructions (in bold), waist size, but then underneath you state "remember to order the measurement of your jeans rather than your waist". At a guess I'm thinking that the measurement of my current belt, i.e. overall length, plus waist size will give me a belt the correct length with holes in the right place?
As an aside, will these belts be embossed with the HWDC logo on the inside?
-
Safest to measure a current belt from where the buckle is attached to the belt, to the hole which you are using.
-
wunnaz, I won't get chance to take the pictures today, and I'm going to struggle for good light for the next couple of days due to working long days. Can I suggest that you drag the pics I have taken onto your desk top, and compare them on your screen? I think that will be quicker and easier for you.
warioss the London tan is a yellowish brown, but a really nice deep colour, one of my favourites. As for branding, I am looking into getting a branding tool made for the inside of the belts, for those who want it. Personally, I'm not really a fan of branding the belts, or on most of my clothing.
-
Mega, I will only accept images taken in sunlight between 430pm and 5pm.
Sincerely,

I'm sure many of you already know this (and it's been explained in text already) but for those unsure about belt measurement and need to have a visual aid I'd suggest checking out THIS link from the LGC website. Hopefully someone finds this as helpful as I have when I've determined my belt size in the past
-
Quick reminder that the belt pre-order is only open for 2 weeks, if you want to order one, now is the time. Pre-order closes on the 28th of January.

Also, just to add that the earlier images I used of Crispin and his workshop, are from this great piece by SuFu member Saintkeat.

Still waiting to hear back from Crispin about the 1.75" measurement, but as I know he can do 2" I am sure that 1.75 will not be a problem, although it might limit your buckle choices.
Speaking honestly, being as your jeans (everyones jeans) were designed to take a 1.5" belt, I really do not know what the bid deal is about a 1.75" belt. As for a 2" belt, I can already tell those dudes what their first repair is going to be on their jeans.
-
I just like the looks of a 1.75" belt, especially on my Iron Hearts. After owning a 1.75" LGC bridle leather belt for over a year, 1.5" now looks kinda skinny to me. I'm sure it's the same obsession that makes any denim less than 17oz seem like tissue paper to me.
-
I agree…. I'm a fan of the look of a 1.75 belt and it fits my 666xhs without any problem.... To each their own tho
-
I'll get an answer tomorrow about the different widths, and the buckle options that go with them. I will also have pictures of the double pronged buckles. Crispin has told me that he can do either a 1.75" or 2" belt, but they are marginally more expensive than the standard.
