Ok so these pics aren't the greatest….yeah they pretty much suck but you get the idea. This jacket is pretty awesome. It's warm and roomy but not too bulky.

Sweet jacket! Looks really warm.

what size did you get? M or L?

This the large. For reference I am 6"2 and 168lb. I could have probably worn a medium but I wanted a comfortable fit that I could layer with.

Looks good on you, also great you are able to do some layering..

I'm 6'2" about 190lb. For me the medium fit very well and I could still get layers on underneath it. But your photos look great.

any further opinions on the 'revised fit' sweatshirts? I ordered one through HPA - they recommended I go with a medium (6ft, 40" chest) - it's a little on the short side, and the shoulders a little too narrow.
Concerned if I size up, the neck will be too wide to sit nicely with an oxford shirt. It's just about right on the medium - although I do wonder if the tightness of the shoulders is causing my natural shoulder to 'pull' the shoulder seems out, stretching the neck. I'm a 16" neck - don't know if anyone of similar stature can offer advice!

It's not a shirt, it should stretch out if you need it.

Sorry, I'm not quite sure I follow. I can understand perhaps it stretching out in the shoulders, but not in length? How would one achieve this? I'm also hesitant, as it will most likely shrink in the wash? My concern also with it stretching in the shoulders is that this will also have an effect of stretching out the neck.

Start with HPA and BR - they should know their stuff…I wear a size M, it fits tight and the neck has not stretched out yet.
If it doesn't work out you can always upgrade to a RMcC/JMcC/Ballpark:
- correct rib insert
- loopwheel knit option available(10oz)
- more knit options (10 and 12oz)
- modern fit
I believe they are a little more expensive than most BR's...

I purposely chose BR over McCoy - I'm based in NYC and McCoy is easily available from a number of retailers. I actually prefer the more 'mottled' appearance of the BR knit, that was my reason for choosing it. Also, having tried on some variations of the RMcC sweats, I didn't like the boxy fit - having read the description of the BR on HPA, I thought the revised fit would be more suitable.
Just for clarity, the BR arrived today. It looks fantastic with a tucked in shirt/shorter oxfords and trousers that are worn closer to the waste. It's slightly too short to wear with longer cut oxfords (e.g. Thom Browne) and trousers I tend to wear lower on the hips (e.g. short rise jeans).

I'm not sure if it stretching out in the shoulders would necessarily mean it would in the neck as well, but even if it does it would only have a more vintage appearance. The neck holes weren't really tight, but more oblong from the tension created my the tugging at the shoulders.
Also, I'm sure you could get some length if you wanted it by tugging down. It might shrink back after you wash it but it'll probably stretch again easily if you want it to.
