farmer rancher uses the same last as the smoke jumper its just built with a 700 or 430 sole vs the vibram 100. so the toe wouldn't be pointy. cool story though.

Thanks!  I actually just ordered a pair in black horse hide.  Almost the same make-up except no toe-cap, and regular heel lift instead of lowered.  Should be about 5-6 weeks out now.

Those boots look fine! I presume they are LTT SJ’s… what leather are they? I’m waiting on a build very similar to yours from bakers only in 10’’ without toe-box. Seeing your build makes me even more glad of my choice.
