Ongaku thank u yes very happy, i wear a lightweighted sweater or flannel under it. a bit snug under the arms atm but it will stretch and shape to my body. Possibly i could layer a denim jacket under it but i am usually wearing a shirt and waistcoat so I dont need another jacket. If necessary i can cover with my m51 shell parka or browns beack jacket
Rafa maybe a bit, you can see from the sleeves and shoulders that it shaped nicely compared to the first pic
Jacket is treated now with otterwax shea butter and ready to rock.
For sizing reference i am usually a 36 in MF and took a 38 in this to experiment with soaking. If i would not have been on the experiment trip I would have gone for a snug 36

David,
I like the fit much better than the pre soak fit. And yes no worries it will stretch a bit..
Looking forward to see the evolution of that jacket! -
agreed; fit really looks spot on; looking forward to those evo pictures Davito!

anyone have or try the indigo corduroy trousers?
those are high on my list currently, probably going to snatch them up soon.
i missed out on the iron heart cords, so might as well go the freedom route, i have a few pairs of their pants are really dig them. i'm curious if the indigo cords will fade more interestingly because they're indigo dyed, i guess we'll have to wait and see.

If I were to guess I'd suspect those things crock like mad. But I do love the idea, I'd just be careful sitting on nice furniture at first.

I handled the grey and the indigo in person, wonderful pants in typical MF style with a wonderful elegant touch imho. Like all of his indigo pants they gonna evolve great and gonna bleed but this is the blue love, isnt it
You get some info from MF webpage under wash & care
"For the Indigo corduroy “Trousers El Americano”, some crocking is to be expected when pairing with light colored garments. Indigo ‘stains’ from rubbing wash off eventually." (C) misterfreedom.com -

Absolutely epic fit, congrats

Yep that jacket is sweet…. Just wish my wardrobe wasn't 80% blue so I could justify that....

Thx much Mr Ginger its with me since Oct and love it to rotate.
Bluegrass thx Sir yes it is, very proud to own this and the earlier blanket version.
Ben mate take your time choosing a jacket. This drover edition is not just a blue jacket its much more imho. I love the whole cut, its presence on the Body, the leather details, collar, shape of the backside etc etc. But you know what i mean
my gf always laughs getting smurfed after hugging me while i wear heavy bleeding stuff, this jacket is the ultimate indigo crocking tiger at the beginning. We love it both

Imo I would size up one…

Friday you can go by MF charts they are accurate. I went 36 tts snug, its ok for me after now over a years wearing it and I am ususally not that kind of layering guy. for daily puposes and if I would buy the NOS blanket again I would go 38 though. The indigo drover is a tiny tiny bit different in cut imho prob due to the indigo dyed melton wool and enough space for a sweater and a denimjacket but still fitted like I love.
hmmm gonna wear the blanket right now for a nightwalk

Friday mate snapped some quick crappy pics
tts size 36 with a tshirt could wear a shirt or a sweater but not layering a denim jacket. Dont need too this one is very warm due to the blanket and the inner flannel lining. arms and shoulders are perfect per my gusto, its a very fitted jacket especially around shoulders and armpits. Over the long run i would prob better with a 38 but as long as i stay in this shape i pull it easy off

I did D..
MF sites shows 48 ptp for a size 42 whereas SE 44 ptp. Im looking to wear it with only a thermal or a heavy T's (IH tees that is) if I'm buying one. If MF is more accurate my guess a 40 will fit my requirement. But gambling a $800plus is a big gamble I couldn't afford.
hehheheehe… you wear them well for sure..
