18oz indigo weft/indigo warp - IH-666SII and IH-634SII
-
I asked Haraki to make this denim this morning. I got the following response "I've already started". I guess he knew there was never any doubt…
I did say that Jeans made from this denim would be more expensive than Indigo warp/white weft. This is because both the weft and the warp need to be rope dyed, which doubles the cost of the dying part of the manufacturing process. I now have some handle on that, expect the indigo/indigo jeans to be approx USD375 - USD385 depending upon model.
Alex update. Alex again asserts that this is the toughest denim he has yet had to break in - I'm thinking that this may be that the indigo dyed weft is inherently stiffer than the plain weft...

+1 for 555/666. Timing works, might be able to shoehorn them into birthday season.

Would love 555 in these

That'd be helpful. Not sure if UHR or this. Most likely former but an open question.

Pure Blue Japan does indigo warp & weft jeans in a couple of different weights; there should be pics over on SuFu. I know it's not the same denim, but it will at least give you a general idea of what to expect.
