Just started putting some time in these. I love them. Update at the end of the month.
I just picked up a pair of these as well. Since this winter doesn't want to end, I should still have a good month or two to do some work on them. Should I give them a good soak first? They're pretty damn stiff.

You could, but no need to soak… They will just tighten up a bit, the starch will wane and leave a ring in the tub...part of the fun ! IMO

I did a wash and then started wearing

I've been wearing my 633s for the last few days to break them in after an initial soak, but tonight I put my XHS Devils back on and I was reminded that I may never like another pair of jeans more.
I like switching up cuts and fabric to keep things interesting, but this pair is my denim best friend.

Haha, I'm not hatin'. They look comfortable as hell, just struck me funny because I'm used to seeing Vibergs, Red Wings, etc around the forum.

It's been about 1 month in my first pair of Iron Hearts, no soaks/washes. Here are some fit pics. There isn't very much fading so I didn't bother taking any close-ups. When I first got them I had to lie on my back to button them up, but they've loosened up nicely and are very comfy now. I'm loving these jeans.

^Crazy stacks! Personally I think they would look better with a hem but you should wear em however you like of course.
Had to sell my 33s because the waist just didn't give me enough stretch. Really hated putting them in that box and watching them sail away. I plan to move on to a 34 in that imaginary day when I have money for all the jeans I want…and enough time to wear em!

Yeah, I know it looks a little sloppy compared to a nice hem, but I'm still young and I like the look. Also I think stacking keeps me warm by preventing cold drafts of air in the winter from reaching my ankles. I'm not a fan of cuffing, but I can always hem them. However, I am curious… will allowing the stacks to settle now have any impact when/if I want to hem them in the future?
