Don't fool yourself, nizzel55. The real question is which one to get FIRST. You will have both, in the end. As much as you try to fight it, that's just reality.

I think I have made up my mind. Next time I buy myself a pair of jeans I will get this shirt as well.
How is the shrinkage of this shirt after soak?
Only got one IH shirt atm and it is the IHSH-76 in XL. It is a bit big over the shoulders but fits nicely in all other areas.
I am 187cm (6' 1.6"), 79kg (174lbs)
Wearing 666s in 33.
I think an L might do the trick. What do you think?
I'll add a picture of my 76 just for comparison. -
Nvm.

Inevitably, it seems, after falling in love with my new 634s and BB jeans, I'm considering a IH shirt. I'm debating between the Wabash Western and the Hickory Stripe work shirt. Anyone have both and would like to compare their merits? I'm a little uncertain on size as my measurements hover somewhere between a XXL & a XXXL. This is a bit surprising given that I wear XL in nearly every other shirt I own.

I'll chip in here.
I personally would go for the Wabash, I simply love the fabric and how it ages.
And time to get some sizing crap off my chest. There is simply no such thing as a standard XL (or L or XXXL etc etc). On average Americans are larger than Europeans are larger than Japanese (indeed all Asians). An XL in any one of these countries reflects what is Extra Large for that populous. This "no-standard" is further compounded by the western physique getting larger (and by that I really mean fatter) over time, so a todays L is a yesterdays XXL…
