Strongly agree with Daynym, these are denim porn! Plus of course great stuff with your letters, IH might use this for commercial purposes. Don't forget to charge them if they do!

Nope, your devils are the bees knees

Really nice pair Nizzel.

Nizzle your jeans are awesome!
On the cracking issue, I think it's a waiting too long before the jeans see water. As Giles said, very stiff, high wear points. Water is good, it hydrates things, cotton needs hydration, I only have one very small spot on my MMBs but they saw water within 6 weeks, the 23oz ones have a couple spots and they were 4.5 months till they got this first soak/wash

New to the forum. and looking to buy some 666s!
Quick question: Anyone here worn TFH 3001s as well as 666s, and willing to do a little comparison? i'm currently wearing the 3001s and i like the fit a lot.. But they're pretty worn down and starting to get a little too sung on me. I wouldn't mind a slightly more relaxed look, but want to stick with the slim straight.
Online measurements for the 666s seem to be all over the place. Especially at Self Edge, it seems like the waist measurements are real large compared to the thigh measurements. they have a tagged 33 running 35.5 inches in the waist. the Iron Heart site says a 33 should be 33 inches? any thoughts?

They definitely do measure differently. Check the measuring guides on each website to see the specifics.
Personally, I've found Self Edge's measurements to be kind of erratic, but I don't have any experience with either the 666 or the 3001, so I can't help with your question, sorry.

They definitely use different techniques.. still dont feel like that fully explains the discrepancy.
Anyways, for people who have got slightly more relaxed fits with the 666, how did you size? do you have to wear a belt or can you get a pretty relaxed fit with a decently snug waist? I know they are described as slim tapered but most the fits I see on here look more like the classic slim-straight look im going for.

I'm not sure how my experience compares to everybody else's, but I wish I would have sized up. I normally wear a 34 and stretch the waist to around 35-35.5. I got the 666 xhs in a 34 and it's been torture breaking them in. I wish I would have got them in 36 because the differences in the thighs and rise are minimal according to the IH sizing chart. A little extra breathing room would be nice. In fact I'm looking to trade mine to see if I can size up.

I have a decent amount of experience with the 666 cuts. My pair is from 3 or 4 runs ago (I believe) 34 tag size 36 waist. I highly recommend going with thigh measurements and then wearing a belt. If you go waist size. Thighs will be unbearable. My understanding is the newest run has fixed the discrepancy in sizing. 666 is my favorite cut. Extremely flattering for many body styles.
