@Bluegrass great métis there congrats!!! one of the best MF Shirts atm imho.
Faro coat looks great enjoy it, it's meant to fit a bit trimmed due to the given theme of the late 1800's I think. shoulders and cuffs look spot on. have you rinsed it yet? I assume you can close the coat without Problems and having a bit space to layer the waistcoat, right?. the way you wear it with a lighter shirt and a waistcoat is superb. you can try combining it also with a plain chambray or some striped wabash together with the vest. happy exploring. enjoy -
Thanks @davito I haven't rinsed it and plan not to for awhile. No trouble closing it at all - it has an appropriately generous fit through middle and at the waist - it just feels snug and a bit binding through the chest/shoulders if I wear a heavy flannel/denim/twill shirt. I think it's because the sleeves are fairly trim, that's why wearing it with a vest works so well.
And the metis is perfect after soaking - I feel very fortunate that worked out so well.

The expansion pleats are a nice feature that I've come to appreciate on my Ranchero. It almost feels like an action back and helps the shirt to drape better. Nice buy Jeef, I look forward to its progress.

Nice one @FurattoHeddo
@MisterFreedom great documentary, thx for the insight. really cool trip with the legendary Mike and Russ there
Amazing the old tag and those levis, incredible

Hello Gentlemen (i mean that literally, as I really appreciate how civil everyone is on here).
Thank you for all those photos, feedback and comments.
The doc on Canal+ was a bit out of place in the middle of a political talk-show, but sure was fun to be part of, especially the mine trip! The Levi's ticket found said "For over 20 years", which Mike dates to 1896… He also mentioned that Levi's archives do not own a specimen, making that piece of paper quite the find.
But we can all read about it when he publishes his new book
Happy Holiday Season to all. -
I could piece together a little of the article. Very cool video.
Happy Holidays to you as well Mr. Loiron. I know I have a Skipper jacket under the tree, so I have much to be excited for. -
Some pics I shot earlier today of my new MF chambray. I see what you mean @summ3rhays and @kiya about how much this fabric comes alive after a soak. I gave this one initial hot soak, and then a warm wash.
The thing I think I like the most is its weight, nice and light, almost like wearing linen.

Perfect pics Sir splendid shirt, looks awesome @Hereforthebeer

That looks really great on you HFTB. Would it be possible to get some closeups of the fabric?
-
Great fit! The third and fourth pic show the shirt the most accurately. I swear it was made in a way that the wind always pick up the edge of the shirt. Like it's alive.
I happen to be wearing mine as well today.
-
Cheers @summ3rhays and @Anesthetist . Here's a couple of close up pics for you.
The color is probably most accurate in the first pic I'd say.

MF has a way of managing to do that. Never experienced it on any other clothing, but MF, probably 1/4 of it does that. God it's good in warmer weather too!

Thanks for the closeups, quite a bit of character in the fabric there. Looks great with those buttons too.
