Nice one @FurattoHeddo
@MisterFreedom great documentary, thx for the insight. really cool trip with the legendary Mike and Russ there
Amazing the old tag and those levis, incredible

Hello Gentlemen (i mean that literally, as I really appreciate how civil everyone is on here).
Thank you for all those photos, feedback and comments.
The doc on Canal+ was a bit out of place in the middle of a political talk-show, but sure was fun to be part of, especially the mine trip! The Levi's ticket found said "For over 20 years", which Mike dates to 1896… He also mentioned that Levi's archives do not own a specimen, making that piece of paper quite the find.
But we can all read about it when he publishes his new book
Happy Holiday Season to all. -
I could piece together a little of the article. Very cool video.
Happy Holidays to you as well Mr. Loiron. I know I have a Skipper jacket under the tree, so I have much to be excited for. -
Some pics I shot earlier today of my new MF chambray. I see what you mean @summ3rhays and @kiya about how much this fabric comes alive after a soak. I gave this one initial hot soak, and then a warm wash.
The thing I think I like the most is its weight, nice and light, almost like wearing linen.

Perfect pics Sir splendid shirt, looks awesome @Hereforthebeer
-
-
That looks really great on you HFTB. Would it be possible to get some closeups of the fabric?
-
Great fit! The third and fourth pic show the shirt the most accurately. I swear it was made in a way that the wind always pick up the edge of the shirt. Like it's alive.
I happen to be wearing mine as well today.
-
Cheers @summ3rhays and @Anesthetist . Here's a couple of close up pics for you.
The color is probably most accurate in the first pic I'd say.

I swear it was made in a way that the wind always pick up the edge of the shirt. Like it's alive.
MF has a way of managing to do that. Never experienced it on any other clothing, but MF, probably 1/4 of it does that. God it's good in warmer weather too!
-
Thanks for the closeups, quite a bit of character in the fabric there. Looks great with those buttons too.
-
@Hereforthebeer that shirt is gorgeous and looks great on you. I finally wore my metis sportsman all my very active day today, and it is amazing how great it is - I can see why folks rave about the MF shirts.
-
Cheers @Bluegrass MF sure does make some awesome gear. I'm a relative newbie to the brand, but the shirts I do own are some of my favourites and most worn in my wardrobe.

Cross post with IHV-02 Black Wabby Vest. Black Wabby vest with MF Mechanics Utility Trousers, IH Chambray Western, White's brown bullhide Smoke Jumpers and Hollows belt. I am officially ate up with Mr Freedom gear, just loving it. These Trousers are the nuts. Love everything about them, esp. the fabric - see below…
These trousers have the wrench pocket on the back of the leg - not that it's terribly useful, but it's cool as fuck. That's not the only cool detail. These have not been soaked, and I think they will look and fit better after that's done.
-
@Bluegrass the pants look great on you. The cavalry twill denim on these is awesome
-
I tried my Okinawa Patrol with my SugarCane Okinawas just for fun. With how hairy both denims are, I looked like a denim caveman!
