Perfect pics Sir splendid shirt, looks awesome @Hereforthebeer

That looks really great on you HFTB. Would it be possible to get some closeups of the fabric?
-
Great fit! The third and fourth pic show the shirt the most accurately. I swear it was made in a way that the wind always pick up the edge of the shirt. Like it's alive.
I happen to be wearing mine as well today.

Cheers @summ3rhays and @Anesthetist . Here's a couple of close up pics for you.
The color is probably most accurate in the first pic I'd say.

MF has a way of managing to do that. Never experienced it on any other clothing, but MF, probably 1/4 of it does that. God it's good in warmer weather too!

Thanks for the closeups, quite a bit of character in the fabric there. Looks great with those buttons too.
-
@Hereforthebeer that shirt is gorgeous and looks great on you. I finally wore my metis sportsman all my very active day today, and it is amazing how great it is - I can see why folks rave about the MF shirts.
-
Cheers @Bluegrass MF sure does make some awesome gear. I'm a relative newbie to the brand, but the shirts I do own are some of my favourites and most worn in my wardrobe.

Cross post with IHV-02 Black Wabby Vest. Black Wabby vest with MF Mechanics Utility Trousers, IH Chambray Western, White's brown bullhide Smoke Jumpers and Hollows belt. I am officially ate up with Mr Freedom gear, just loving it. These Trousers are the nuts. Love everything about them, esp. the fabric - see below…
These trousers have the wrench pocket on the back of the leg - not that it's terribly useful, but it's cool as fuck. That's not the only cool detail. These have not been soaked, and I think they will look and fit better after that's done.
-
@Bluegrass the pants look great on you. The cavalry twill denim on these is awesome
-
I tried my Okinawa Patrol with my SugarCane Okinawas just for fun. With how hairy both denims are, I looked like a denim caveman!
-
@Hereforthebeer & @Bluegrass some nice fits a page or so back. i love the olive thread in both of those pieces. always admire what that MF does, def dances to his own drummer
-
I really like your Topsiders Bluegrass. They look slimmer (in a flattering way) on you than I would have thought given the cut. The fabric looks good too. I cant wait to see what the spring holds for MF.

@Snowy it says on the site it's a 50% cotton/50% linen fabric, milled in Japan, made in the U.S. Really special imo - I think I'm going to get it in the red plaid next. Congrats finding this on sale, that's an awesome score!
@Anesthetist they were pretty baggy pre-rinse, and snugged up substantially after a cold soak - I actually wore them a few times pre-soak and I kind of liked them baggy with a big cuff - but oddly they do fit much better and look better post-rinse. These guys know what they are doing. The wrap-leg (no side seam) construction is really neat feature.
