DWCxUHR - Denim World Championship Ultra Heavy Raws…

It does times 10 maybe. There is really nothing else like It. After the 25 oz beats your legs into submission, during the break in, it feels like It is having sex with your legs afterwards. It feels like a combination of suede and silk after the first wash.
It feels smoother to the touch, and doesn't have the higher, (corduroy like?) ridges of of the 21 oz. I love it! I often fantasize about having a quilt made out of 25 oz denim scraps… It is so, so soft. @superfuzz
I have a fond appreciation for all of IH fabrics, so I like trying them all out. But, I already miss my favorite 25 oz MBBs.
What size are you? Maybe I can send you an old too big pair for you to enjoy?
-
Yeah… But a pair for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
-
@sabergirl they're all yours… (check your old)
@cadence they are so nice, they inspire me to write beautiful things! My first impression was to say they were, "such beautiful artistry in denim!" To which Giles made fun of me for. I'm telling you… Get a pair of the 25 oz MBBs. With the navy arcs. They are epically awesome. (size down a size because they stretch). -
^thanks check those PMs
-
Looks like a squeeze, but hopefully doable. Good luck, @superfuzz!

Thanks @sabergirl I've had unsanforized jeans that fit like this and then stretched to perfection, but I'm a little afraid with this denim, but I guess we shall see…

@FilthyBloodJunkie:
@superfuzz I could have sworn I read that the 25 oz. gets treated with silicone to retard fading. It's an interesting topic. Maybe it's just that the Indigo IH uses is better quality and that prolongs its color?
The 21oz gets a post weave treatment that retards fading, the 25oz does not…
-
@FilthyBloodJunkie:
I recall you saying somewhere that these have no post-loom processing…. Other than starch, I presume. ?
Starch is not applied post weave. It is a sizing agent that is applied to the warps before weaving, it is applied to decrease friction during the weave and thus decreases the chances of warps breaking in the loom.

Thanks Giles. I was way off.

After a 20 minute struggle I got the top button fastened…...fucking ouch is all I can say.
