IH-101J - 1946 101J Riders Jacket
-
Shrinkage would be the last I want in my XL, so I'll have a look at the XXL. I just hope somebody has interest in my barely worn XL then.
-
I am going with the fit the looks spot on as it is too
-
Thanks for the Input, much appreciated.

@Max Power Great fit and great jacket, keep it like this imho
-
I know it's all personal preference, but I prefer my denim jackets to have that classic "pull" at the buttons - if they are too big (or in all actuality, the "true" size), they have a tendency to look "frumpy." I really like your 101 look with the XL - I would be afraid to get the next size up.

100% as above. Looks good. My 526L is like a straight jacket, but i wouldnt change it !-)

Looks great! I'm wearing mine today as well, also got a few electric blue hues.
-
thanks!!. they're still somewhat stiff. so tempted to put them in the wash now to soften them. but might hold for abit longer.
-
If you do, please let me know wether it shrunk much.
-
cheers i will if i do..
-
so i finally gave my 101J a warm wash. i felt overall the denim shrunk a little more. fits a lot better now and the denim has soften up a lot as well.
i don't have measurements, so for comparison, a photo when i first had them..
Before wash
After wash

I think a wash was a good call. Looks much better on you [emoji106]
BTW, that Goros set up is jawdropping!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thanks guys. i really love the fit of it now too. it doesn't feel too "cardboardish" now and more hugging fit, which i how i like my jackets.
Thanks @Anesthetist quite a basic set up compared to many others out there. that was over a year ago i think. i've since added a stoplight co in between the feathers. the queue of goros render my unable to get my desired feather and i refuse to pay resale price which is at it's highest point now..

Looks great @louisbosco . And you can button it! with slack! :o wtf!

Thanks louis for the update. I'm worried about the shrinkage but am glad to hear it softens up.
