IHJ-48 - Black Quilted Racing Jacket
-
Sizing is tough. L looks a little too big. M a little to small. What is your feel G? Shoulders/P2P are my problem area! Have an XL in the IHJ-17 if it helps and it is about a 22.5-22.7 P2P.
-
Yea, I think it would actually!
-
I think it would leave some marks. I don't think that they'll be too bad.
BTW - I adore this thing, I am a Patagucci down sweater/shirt whore, but IMO, this think has them beat…
Sweet - since it's poly, im sure giving it a wash might "seal" the holes a little bit after removing the patch. The jacket reminds me of the first gen IH down jackets, just more slim. I have a feeling this one would look great worn pretty snug.
-
Really tempted but only if I can get confirmation on what the damage looks like with the patch removed. Who wants to be the test subject?
-
@fifediesel - if you remove it and the damage is apparent, you could always find a new patch you like more and sew it over the holes.
I know it's not the same as a non-patched jacket, but at least it would be easier to deal with…
Obviously, if the damage is nill, it's a win-win

Sorry if it´s asked before but:
The product pics only show the Patch on the chest, but your fitpic @Giles shows the obligatory (and nice) IH Tag on the left pocket. What do people get when they order the jacket?
J. -
Does it have any draw strings to pull the hem closer? @Giles
-
The one with the IH tag. @sam was off today, invalided when lifting a box of UHF (true story). I wanted to get the product live, so stole pics from H. I guess he had taken photos of an early sample. Sam will photograph the real deal properly tomorrow…..If he can haul his aching arse into the office....

No inner pockets?
-
And is the inside surface of the jacket, same as the outside?
-
Ho hum, back to the think tank for me… once I know the measurements of the re-release of the IHJ-38 (please be forgiving in the chest, some guys have moobs you know!) it'll help me decide on a lightweight winter warmer.
