IHSW-10-BLK - 14oz Ultra Heavyweight Loopwheel Cotton Zip Up Hoodie - Black

I read that loop wheeled tops don't have seams. But this shirt does (and I think my IH tees do too - not sure). Why do these have seams? It's not a grievance; I'd just like to know why.

@Giles - the "See item in shop" bar and badge are missing on this page just an FYI.

Sometimes due to the shape of the body or size of the body (larger than the largest loopwheel tube), we cut the tube and sew side seams….

Thanks Giles.

I can't wait for it to cool down so I can start wearing this. It's warmer than some winter coats I've owned.

Living in Colorado's four season climate and travelling frequently throughout the States and abroad, the Hoody is an essential piece of equipment for my life. I typically wear and shred a nice hoody every season or two. Cuffs, pockets, hood strings, zippers, they all end up biting the dust after a couple hundred wears. I decided to put a IHSW-10-BK into rotation this season and picked one up around October 1st, right when temps typically start to drop here in Denver.
This was my second purchase and 3rd item from IH, and as before, I was impressed with the fabric weight, color, and overall quality of the garment. It was one of the darkest blacks i've seen in cotton…Darth Vader black! I'm 6' 0" (183cm) and 170lbs (77kg) and ordered a size Large based on measurements from previous sweatshirts. The fit and feel was different in several ways from my prior seasons hoody (https://victorathletics.com/products/mens-hooded-sweatshirt-grey). I love the longer sleeves and absolutely boss weight of the loopwheeled cotton, and it took a week or two to adjust to the shorter length, higher overall pocket positioning (natural, due to the shorter length) and super heavy hood.
The hood on this piece is so big and heavy that at first it feels like it is pulling me backwards. I liken this to what a pitbull goes through when his/her owner puts a heavy chain around their neck as a puppy...it only makes them stronger. That being the case, the hood is the most comfortable for me when I've got a vest on over the hoody that is supporting some of the hood weight. With this hoody, a nice vest over the top and a henley on underneath my core is good to freezing and below assuming I'm working and active.
I've cold washed and line dried 3 times at the point of the pictures, no overall change in size with that cleaning method. Cuffs are still tight, everything is wearing in well and we're getting some good evo now after about 50 wears.
All in all this seems like it will be an excellent hoody. It really is super thick and windproof, I've tested it out in the field several times now. In my experience most hoodies start to fall apart after about 100 wears, so I will follow up when we've gotten some more evo.
Thanks again IH Crew!

Are those Sammies S710 in the pics? They're brilliant, too!
You sir, are an astute observer of denim and are absolutely correct, thank you and cheers!
