Lol. Seriously

Super excited about Lukaku, Matic, Pogba…hell the whole squad for that matter and I agree...it just feels great. And Valencia is looking fantastic too. He was a terror going forward on the right wing against Sampdoria, although his defensive error did end up resulting in Sampdorias only goal.
The market is insane right now. What value do we put Ronaldo and Messi at now?! Can't even imagine.
yeah, i saw the highlights to that game where he was skinning their left back time and time again. i really hope this year will be that year of the ressurection. Messi is unattainable for most clubs, especially to meet FFP. Ronaldo, i don't even need to explain further. but then again, Neymar is 25, Ronaldo and Messi are both ageing into their 30s. Their values will certainly be on a downwards curve..

The boy and I took a trip to Newcastle to watch the pre-season game against Hellas Verona.

Cool to see Newcastle back in the premier league again. Always thought that was a cool stadium.

My lifelong club. Supporting the Toon used to be an absolute obsession of mine, above everything else, but Mr Ashley has made me a more casual fan these days

Couldn't have asked for a better start to the season. United finally looked like a United squad again which was something we never saw in the Moyes and Van Gaal days. Matic is going to be such a key player for us and was fantastic today. Lukaku is beaming with confidence and everyone played their roles today. So happy to see some creativity, pace, and dominance again. We might become the team everyone loves to hate again which is a good thing for the league IMO.
I'm still not completely confident in our back line though. I think those weaknesses will show against stronger opposition but time will tell. All in all a great start.

LUKAKU'S A BEAST!!!
THAT FIRST GOAL. DAMN, HE DEFINITELY TOOK IT WELL. AND HE'S QUICK AS WELL FOR A MAN HIS SIZE!

He is a straight beast. Dude has been fire and will continue to be this year. Perfect combo of speed and size IMO. First goal was great, reminded of one of his pre-season goals. I'll have to find the clip.

even better that it was against Man city. The accuracy from that angle with the pace he was running at, insane.
-
he shoots, he scores!
-
Shocked that Spurs finally managed to sign someone, can't complain with it though!

Not familiar with this Sanchez fellow. Looks promising though.

Another great 4-0 performance for Man U. I know it's nothing to get crazy excited about yet and the opposition hasn't been the strongest but damn they are looking good. We are finally looking like a Man U squad again.
-
Pro tip: United supporters (or people who like football in general) never call Manchester United ''ManU'' - only Manchester United, ManUnited, United, ManUtd. or MUFC but never ManU as this term was used in a song by some West Bromwich arseholes to make fun of the death of the Busby Babes in a fatal plane crash back in 1958.

were you watching the same game as i did? hahaha. swansea proved more threat than west ham did, i know it's not much. but it showed the defence were shaky at times and the swans did come close on a couple. unlike you, i'm ready to call this season ours!! hahaha!

I never knew this either, well the "ManU" part not the plane crash. Been a supporter for 15 years and nobody has ever mentioned that. Thanks for the info.

I was watching the same game. You didn't think this was a good performance for United? I disagree that Swansea was much of a threat, one shot on target is hardly threatening.

i thought it was a brilliant performance. the 3 goals in 5mins showed exactly the brilliance of the players. finally the good old side getting goals late in games/either halves. where my thoughts differ was that swansea was much of a threat going forward than west ham regardless of shots on target. they offered much more pace and at times i was thinking "oh shit, this better not be like last season"
