One of the most eagerly awaited blue bags of recent memory is waiting for me at the post office. It contains my first heavy snap upgrade IH shirt, in my favourite IH fabric. It also contains a birthday present from the wife; one of those IH products that I've coveted for years and that always seemed unobtainable. But turning 44 has to be ameliorated by a bit of luxury, doesn't it

Funny little story:

There's a nice little old lady that works at the convenience store on the base here, and we always chat so she know's Maddy hasn't been here for quite a while. Well, Wednesday after Maddy got her visa back, I made my normal trip to go get tobacco on the way to the office, and when I went to check out, she looked at me and said "You suddenly look happier… I bet your wife's visa got approved!", lol!

Definitely I feel the weight lifted from my shoulders now, and apparently it shows in my demeanor
