Funny little story:
There's a nice little old lady that works at the convenience store on the base here, and we always chat so she know's Maddy hasn't been here for quite a while. Well, Wednesday after Maddy got her visa back, I made my normal trip to go get tobacco on the way to the office, and when I went to check out, she looked at me and said "You suddenly look happier… I bet your wife's visa got approved!", lol!
Definitely I feel the weight lifted from my shoulders now, and apparently it shows in my demeanor

We won the immigration war, and Maddy will be back on Tuesday!

On second thoughts, maybe it will be the one with two eyes, etc. If Gav is around then two throbbing, smooth, red ones may be a bit much…
Alas I won't be in town this festive period, last year spent laming it up with @chris means that I need to spend this year with my wife's family (super lame). Also, as we have a weekend excursion to the continent on the horizon with the Padmore's it would be unreasonable of me to expect Giles to tolerate Tommy, or Tommy to tolerate Giles again in such short order.
