Underwear
-
C'mon guys.. I expected better brands being suggested here.
No loopwheeled underwear?Did you ever complete that article talking about trying all the best underwear?
I did not…
For those wondering what he's talking about..
A year ago I went online and bought 1 pair of underwear from 23 brands at the same time.
These were to my knowledge the top 23 pairs of underwear you can buy regardless of price. I wore them six months or so then was going to write an article for Heddels about the fits, branding, fabrics, stitching, etc.. I never did get around to it, but I learned a lot about underwear in the process. I should get around to writing that piece for the site.. -

Most the stuff you list there is Standard style cotton boxers @ 40 bucks eachmade by companies who just figured they’d make underwear too because “why not”. I work hard and I’m Telling you the boxers I mentioned are no joke and the most comfortable I have ever come across. But if you’re looking for an ego boost from your underwear then those you mentioned will do just swell.

Not sure what you are trying to say ??? For me the choice of fabric used, five of them use formal shirting grade fabric, fit, comfort & country of manufacture count a lot for me. If I wanted an ego boost by what I wore for I'd just go A N OTHER designer brand.

Interestingly I just looked up the brand you mention and at retail they are close to many of the brands mention in price.
Now although i get the mositure wicking abilities people say they have(always a good thing) i can't help but chuckle at the folk that state they washed them then found they were clean afterwards.

lol I mean I know I feel good in nice fabrics like IH shirts and jeans. I mean if you’re looking for the same thing then those companies will do it. Nice fabrics and good cotton etc. I prefer function and comfort because of the work and amount off walking I do. Funny you say shirt fabric because I was thinking that British boxers remind me of the fabrics Ettro used in the early 2000’s

I don’t think “clean” is the right choice of word. I think they probably didn’t” smell” dirty. But that does. It
Mean clean…. . Anyways, I don’t wear exoffico boxers. I wear lululemon and meundies. I brought up the exofficio because some other members seemed to like them and I saw them at a discount. -

I too do a ton of work & walking and a fair bit of cycling too I might add. BB are to be fair more in line with Sunspel's main offering ie decent but not super outstanding I'm not keen on the fact they lack a seat panel over rear seam(I have mentioned this in an email to the company but the fact they are a small one woman start up that wants to keep production UK & the fact I only paid £10 per short swayed me.

Will look those others up as I started basically doing the very same as Kiya mentioned earlier in the thread only I was kind of doing it only for myself but I would love to see his thoughts.

I doubt they have these in other countries. But for my American ultra heavy jeanswearing peers: I really like these Fruit of the Loom long leg boxer briefs.
They are 100 per cent cotton, pretty soft, and the length goes down to the upper knee- so there's never any ride up. They have got kind of slim fit that gives, so if you have thunder thighs like I do, there's plenty of coverage making them the most comfortable underwear I've worn with slim fitting heavy jeans so far. The rib knit is a little heavier than other boxers for a little cushion against those thick jeans seams. And plenty of length to cover your butt crack as well…
They were only $13 for 5 pairs.
Here's the package:
Here's a comparison pic so you can see the length compared to a pair of jeans. (Since nobody would want to see me modeling them. It's a trainwreck).

I think of stuff like this all the time but usually only post the highlights because nobody every responds or shows any interest. I've also not been here too often because I need to keep my spending under control for the time being, until I go back to work. But yeah for the money the boxers are awesome. You can get them from Amazon, Target, and Walmart.

Bro… You're on a roll today!
I've been wearing briefs for 3 years because regular boxer briefs ride up my thighs whilst wearing jeans.
I might try to track these down, at least for winter
